This remote is AWSOME. It took me a couple of visits to the web site to get my customized settings programed correctly, but after that it worked flawlessly. One thing that really impressed me is that the Logitech database had device codes for all of the equipment that I own, including my obscure digital TV set top box. No other universal remote has ever been able to provide a complete solutuion like this. Another big benefit is the simple user interface that the remote uses. Everyone in the family can now get the home entertainment sytem to work without having to hunt for 4 different remote controls or call me to ask what key to punch on the universal remote to turn on the DVD or audio sytem. I think $149 is a little steep for the price, but it certainly does everything that the manufacturer claims. One piece of advice If your first or second attempt at programming the remote does not give you perfect results, keep trying. I found out that what I thought was a flaw with the remote was actually caused by a dimmer setting on my Sony audio system's display. When the dimmer was active in sleep mode, the Sony did not respond to the first command from either the original remote or the harmony. The first command would only re-activate the LED display, which threw of the syncronization with the harmony remote. After setting the dimmer to the original setting, the remote worked flawlesly with the device.
