What I appreciated about this phone in comparison to other phones I've had, is its long range and superb clearity. I can take it with me to the mail box which is over 300 yrds away and its still cristal clear! The speakerphone is great too because, you can be accross the room and it will pick up your voice just fine.

I own two of these units. I used one at work for over a year, and then I decided to buy one for use at home too. The range and clarity of the cordless phone are excellent. I can walk anywhere in my house or yard, and there is no change in the clear signal. The unit has the feel of quality. I have not dropped it to the floor yet, but it seems to be well made. The speakerphone is perhaps the best I have used. I can have normal conversations using it--no problem. It is easy to switch between the speakerphone in the base unit and the cordless handset in the middle of a call, which is handy. The answering machine works fine, and I like being able to listen to messages through the handset, so others cannot hear them. I also like being able to turn off the sound when a person leaves a message, so I am not disturbed when I cannot answer the phone personally. The only thing I am unhappy about is that it is time consuming to use the list of phone numbers stored in the phone's memory. I would prefer the simpler arrangement of assigning a frequently called number to each button on the keypad. Fortunately, the phone does have one button that will directly dial the number you assign, which is handy for the number you use most often. But I'd like to have 10 buttons that work that way. Overall, the clarity and range of the phone and the excellent speakerphone are very satisfying. Don't lose the manual that comes with the phone--you'll need it.

I am very happy with my new phone. My son in
Denver says that he can now hear me on his cell phone very much clearer than with our old Sony 900MHz phone. My wife appreciates the easier push buttons on the hand set. The one thing that I miss on the new Panasonic 2.4 GHz is an audible signal when there are new messages waiting. Over all, it is a winner by my standards!

This phone is great. It was easy to setup for initial use. Because of all the features, it does take time to enter all the directory listings. The only problem I have with it is the fact that you can't be on the phone when using the microwave. This is because of the close proximity of the base unit to the micro. I guess you would have this problem with ANY cordless phone though.
I really like the sturdiness of the phone. It doesn't feel as though it will break if you accidently drop it. The rubber around the sides make it much easier to hold on the shoulder if need be.
With all the features and the range, it's a wonderful phone.

I was very pleased with my new phone/answering system from Panasonic. The phone has a solid feel to it and the rubberized grip around the edge not only makes the phone resistant to damage if it is dropped, it gives a secure feeling in the hand. I purchased this phone to replace one with similar features from another manufacturer. In all regards, this phone is superior. I had a 900 megahertz model before and I was amazed at the difference in range. With this phone, I can visit a neighbor 3 houses down the street and still make and receive calls!
The sound quality is great...very clear and without any annoying hiss or static. The manual is detailed and complete and I like that many functions can be completed from either the handset or the base unit. I have my phone wall mounted and the only suggestion I would make to improve on this phone is that a short (4 inch) wire should be supplied to connect the phone to the wall. As it is now you have to coil the wire into the mounting bracket and feed a little piece out to connect it. That is cumbersome. All in all, a great product and one that will make me confident to purchase from Panasonic again.

Excellent phone. Easy to use, no complicated instructions. Message waiting light blinks, no irritating "beep". The only criticism is some echo when talking on handset with volume on high. Has all the features you could want. I especially like that you can either dial first, then press "talk" to send the call, allowing you to see if the number you've dialed is correct, or if you prefer you can press "talk" first, then dial, whichever option you choose. Also, you have the option of answering the handset by just picking it up without pressing "talk". Great phone!
