How It Differs From Its Predecessors

InFocus offers up-to-date home theater technology with the IN81. You'll get just as great performance as you did with the IN7- series: It's ready for Blu-ray, HD television and video programming, but this model kicks it up a notch with a larger contrast ratio, greater projection resolution, and more connectivity options. And its even able to project from farther away. The Play Big IN81 is virtually future-proof thanks to onboard HDMI 1.3 inputs with Deep Color™ support. This new HDMI standard can display up to 1.07 billion colors for a smooth picture without color band artifacts. The IN81 also hosts comprehensive connectivity and I/O, including DVI, and PC input, screen triggers, RS232, and an IR repeater input. (Deep Color requires HDMI 1.3 compatible media player and source material.)
