I have bought this TV about 2-3 weeks ago. First off, I'd like to say that Vanns.com was absolutely great. Great Priecs yes, i shopped around, Lightning fast delivery i expected to wait for my TV for about two weeks with Free ground shipping and got it 3 days later.

TV appearead to be relatively light.

First thing that i have noticed was that it was really easy to setup this TV picture, sound, etc, etc.

Second thing probably the most important - it took several hours for the TV to 'break-in', what I mean by that is that at first picture wasn't that sharp. After several hours of working picture became really great - sharp and smooth, really vivid.

I really like this TV whether i watch TV show or some DVD movie, money very worth spent!

I recently purchased the Samsung HLP5663. I am amazed by the value of this televsion. TV was delivered before the anticipated date without a hitch in the original factory sealed box - in perfect condition. At less than 95 pounds and under 18 inches thick, my wife and I easily unpacked the TV and carried it upstairs to the home theater room. Documentation and owner's manual very well done - setup was snap. The third generation T.I. DLP produces an amazing HD image for a 56 inch television. Sleek design looks great in the room and is adaptable to any decor. I believe the new DLP televisions provide the maximum picuture quality and value for the money spent. The Samsung 63 series DLP televisions are the gold standard for the class.

In short, I'm delighted with this product and would highly recommend it. Vann's was a pleasure to deal with and I'll definitely shop here again.

This is the newest model of DLP from Samsung, with first units available in July '04. I have only had the unit for a week or so, but it meets all of the expectations that I had. I was looking for a large screen, high definition TV. Plasma and LCD are very expensive, but DLP seems to be the best way to go large screen size 56' in this case, terrific picture quality and an affordable price. Samsung has been the leader in the DLP market and with their 3rd generation, they seemed to really deliver a no compromise product.

I bought this on-line, because I couldn't find one locally. Deciding on who to buy is from was difficult. I was leary of buying from New York based dealers because of what I have read about some of these guys on the web. Buying from Vanns was a great decision, great communication about order status and shipping. Item showed up 3 days ahead of when expected. I would highly recommend them.
