This was a smokin deal from the clearance center, but it looked brand new. Best investment Ive made all year considering how much my wife and I watch TV. Arrived at my house in about 2 days, FedEx provided excellent service upon delivery.
As far as the TV goes, HD service is a must, any graphics appear slightly blurry in SD due to the sheer size of the screen, but HD looks amazing even if it is from a set of bunny ears. I will be upgrading to HD service from Directv ASAP.
The TV is a bit of a dust magnet, but AZ is the dust capital of the world so...take it for what its worth.
Color is amazing, I was watching the Masters the other day and couldnt believe how amazing it looked even in SD.

The set up was so easy. HD picture quality is the best Ive seen. The colors all look natural. The no glare screen is great. I like all the great features! I would recommend this to anyone wanting a top of the line quality DLP! |

I recently took my 9-year-old Mitsubishi 65 inch CRT rear projection TV off life support and sent it to electronics heaven. Wanting to replace it with another large screen TV, I began my search in earnest.
The current crop of LCD and plasma flat screen HDTVs are terrific. However, the prices seem to increase geometrically once you cross the 50 inch threshold. I soon realized that a 65 inch replacement at a reasonable price narrowed my search to either a Mitsubishi or Samsung DLP rear projection HDTV.
After reading all the positive reviews for the Samsung DLP TV, I was shocked to see how muted and dull the colors were, even after numerous adjustments. By comparison, the colors on the Mitsubishi DLP set are brilliant yet natural looking. I am really impressed with the whiteness of the whites. The Samsung whites are, at best, a light gray. My observations were confirmed in the current issue of Home Theater magazine - they chose the Mitsubishi over the Samsung.
Further, I am mesmerized at the color accuracy of live-action sports like football and basketball. I may never leave the house again.
I am thoroughly satisfied with the TV and look forward to many years of enjoyment. |

I,VE HAD MY 65835 ABOUT A WEEK NOW, AND ITS GREAT! I GOT A GREAT DEAL FROM VANNS, YOU HAVE TO GO HD TO GET THE BEST PIC FROM THIS TV, I HAD MY ANALOG DISH HOOKED TO THIS TV FOR A FEW DAYS TILL MY HD RECIEVER CAME IN AND ITS DAYLIGHT AND DARK LET ME TELL YOU, WE HOOKED A DISH NETWORK HD 612 TO THIS 65835 WITH THE AUDIOQUEST X CABLES AND ITS ONE GREAT PICTURE!!! |
