This is an oustanding TV from the picture ports appearance perspective. I have it connected to a MCE PC Vista 64 via DVIHDMI and to an old Xbox360 non-HDMI via VGAPC-Port. Runs 1080p on both which was a pleasant surprise on the Xbox. The PC image had to be tweaked a bit via NDivia card software in order to stretchalign it properly on the screen. The Xbox360 image is a pefrect rectangular, short of the full screen size about 1 inch on each side i.e. only 97 of the screen surface is being utilized - making it 65inch picture on the 67inch screen, which would be silly to complain about. The TV turns on within 3-4 seconds no lamp heat-up wait. Knowing that it consumes less than 200W on full load is nice. After several hours of playing GOW2 the screen feels significantly less warm than it was on a 3 years old Phillips 30inch LCD. Very speedy deliveryservice by Vanns, as always.

Well, lets just start off by saying that this is the greatest DLP I have ever owned. I had a Mitsubishi 65732 and nothing but a headache from day one. One blown bulb after another. But, to no avail Samsung has come to the rescue with the HL67A750. It was truely like going from a CRT tv to Plasma. Just saving you about 3 to 5 grand. The picture looks amazing in HD, Blu-ray jumps off the screen. Its as if your standing there while the movie is being made. Colors are so bold and beautiful. I often find myself rewinding and pausing just to see it again. If I had to put all of the wonderful features about this DLP in one word, It would have to be BEAST. For the price that could not be beat and the great service I recieved from Vanns I have and will continue to pass the word. Thank You. I would highly recommend the HL67A750 to any one wanting to get a Plasma or LCD. Save your money and invest in the best.

This TV is absolutely amazing right down to the nitty gritty. The size is very large...make sure you measure your living space correctly and ensure the proper viewing distance. I did all my measuring so I knew what to expect. Also you make sure that you buy the Top of the line CAT 2 HDMI cables to go with this TV for your xbox 360, blu ray player, HD cable box etc. I bought 3 10ft. CAT2 HDMI cables. I also bought 2 digital optical audio cables in 10ft to have for my TV and surround sound. Dont skimp on the cables, buy high quality ones because they make a world of difference in quality. The Color on this TV is amazing. The Blu Rays look ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL. There is no grain what so ever in the HD viewing. My friend has a large LCD TV and I kid you not, the quality of this LED DLP looks identical to his in picture quality, except my TV was less money and is MUCH BIGGER. The visuals of this TV are colorful, crisp, clear and sharp. The picture quality is identical to LCD or Plasma. I kid you not. I am very picky about this as well. Take my word for it. This TV is the perfect size and very thin so it made my living loom look even larger which is awesome! The cosmetic appearance of this TV is gorgeous. The way it is set up is sleek gloss black and a Samsung neon blue ring at the bottom of the TV adds a very nice touch to the living room surroundings. The controls on the TV are extremely easy, I love the way the remote controls are laid out and the pre-set settings on the TV are awesome. There are presets already implemented for Sports, Video Games, and Cinema. So you are able to program the different settings to come up automatically when you switch between these 3 different program types. The ports are located directly to the right side of the TV so you dont have to worry about going behind the TV to hook things up. They are hidden very nice and can be easily accessed. All I can say is this TV is amazing. This TV even sounds like a computer and makes a special noise when you turn it on and off. The people at Samsung are Absolute Geniuses and I will forever be a Samsung TV owner as long as they make quality TVs like this one.

I saw this at the major chain store closing,
I couldnt believe it wasnt a plasma given that you can see just fine from off center. I was waiting for it to come down some in price but it never came down to Vanns price before it was sold out.

So I ordered it from Vanns on a Monday who said it would be there a week later....Well they were wrong, it got there that Friday... whohoo in time for the weekend! They delivered via FedEx who said it would be at my house at 4PM....It arrived in my driveway at 1154AM Friday morning track them carefully, make calls!!!!

I had to put it in the house which at 89lbs is no problem although you do need extra hands because it so large one person cant possibly move it.

This thing is awesome in size and view. I couldnt keep my kids from sitting right in front of the old 36 TV. Now they sit 10 back on the couch! You wont beleive the size of this thing. Make sure you have no less then 8 feet to sit from this thing or you wont be happy because youll get headaches scanning the screen for the view. Ive never cared for NASCAR but seeing a race this past weekend in Hi Def made me grab a couple of beers, kick back and enjoy!

The only drawback is the limited number of TV stands out there for this monster..dont put your new baby on a cheap stand.

I ordered a 67 samsung hdtv and it is AWESOME!!! I did lots of research and Vanns had the best price by far. I saved over $500 by buying from Vanns and free delivery was an added bonus. My shipping, via FedEX went very well also. My tv arrived at exactly the time scheduled without any problem. I hooked it up and Oh Baby, am I happy. I compared this TV with a 73 mitsubishi, a couple JVCs and a LG. I think the Samsung had the best picture and more componets hook ups. If I need any other electronic equipment, I will definetly be checking Vanns first!!!

Both my aunt and myself ordered one of these after much research and review reading. All I can say is for right now this seems to be the best buy out there if the technology pans out with the LEDs. Vanns has been excellent. Very impressed with their service. Im very critical of my purchases Ive slammed expensive buys in the past when they deserved it. Im a photo lab field engineer by trade.Image is SHARP. Used my Avia disk did not feel anything was out. Two very minor mentions. Standard to HD there is a 4 second lag. The frame has a little play in it at top corners. Not bad just a little finger adjustable. That said if rumor is true and they are getting out of the DLP business. Its a shame they nailed this one. Cost vs LCD no contest would take this over any LCD Ive seen in person so far! If you want one...dont miss out. You will not regret it.

Since my 52 RCA rear projective television died about a year ago, I have been plotting to fill the void it left in my living room. I stumbled upon this tv while researching and soon discovered that Vanns had the absolute best price. As soon as my tax return funds had been deposited I placed my order. My new 67a750 arrived today and has left me wondering what else could be expected from a high definition television. The colors are vivid, the picture is bright, and the blacks are truly black. The HD picture is AMAZING! I found the menus extremely easy to use. Anyone who is in the market for a LARGE screen HDTV should buy this one because it rivals any tv I have ever seen. Not too mention, this baby is so huge your visitors jaws are sure to drop as they turn the corner into your living room. BUY THIS TV!

This t.v. is great. We found Vanns online and the price blew my mind, yet I have never heard of this company. I called and was treated like family from the first words. They told me about their history and websites to confirm their a reliable company. I was still a little worried about doing business with a company I have never heard of.
All I can say is, thank you so much for the great customer service and I am not even close to being done doing business with this company. I called 2-3 times before I made my purchase and every time the people I spoke with were great. They made me feel good about giving them my money.

The picture is excellent, the interface and controls convenient, and the size...

My Samsung HL67 sits in a very bright sunlit room, 20 feet from our primary seating. In our price range, we were limited to a 52 inch LCD or a DLP. Plasma was too reflective.

When sun fills the room, the matte finish of the screen makes the picture fairly soft, but thats only for a couple of morning hours.

Once the direct sunlight leaves the room, WOW! The picture is amazing, the colors pop, there is little motion blurring if any, and sitting so far across the room is now no factor.

The side input panel is extremely convenient for setting up the surround system dvd etc.

The remote is average, but a universal is just a convenience.

Very happy with the set, the ordering process, the delivery, and Vanns in general.

I setup this TV 10 days ago. Much easier to get into my house, split foyer, than my old 65 Mitsu CRT projection TV. Picture is MUCH better than the old Mitsu. Brightness is, well, bright! Sometimes it gives off so much light it feels like a lamp! and I mean that in a good way. Colors are stellar, image is great. I havent bought BluRay yet, so I am not able to comment on 1080p yet, but HD via DishNetwork and Verizon FIOS looks fantastic.

Unless you actually plan to hang a Plasma or LCD on a wall, with no other equipment nearby, it just doesnt make sense to spend more for a smaller screen. Any stereo stand will be at least 18 deep, which this TV is less than, so the amount of floor space away from the wall is the same with this or a LCDplasma on a stand, and I really like the idea of the LED lamps in this unit for longevity, and no worries about image burn in from gaming etc. Planning to hook my PC to this soon to use as my monitor as well!! Cant wait to see World of Warcraft and Left 4 Dead on this sucker!!

only negative I can think of, when switching inputs from HDMI to Component, it takes 4 or 5 seconds. Not sure why, DishNetwork is on Component, Fios on HDMI, both are up and running. Really need to get a new 7.1 tuner with HDMI switching

This thing is HUGE! I spent over 4 months deciding on this or the 8 series TOC LCD. Has a beautiful picture. Wouldn`t say as good as some of the newer LCD`s they insert a fake picture in between frames but still its awesome. have it set up with DirectTV HDVR and I am very satisfied. Has a ton of settings for tweaking to your needs. Stucture is high quality and in my living room has virtually no glare on the screen. For the size, picture quality and price this is a deffinite steal. Now the only problem is finding a stand that looks as good as the TV does. DEFINITELY RECOMEND! I received this TV and was a little worried that it was going to be too big. But to my surprise the picture was larger but a lot thinner than my old 57 Sony and now I have more room in my living room. As for the picture its great, clear and crisp I cant say how satisfied I am with the TV
I received the TV in 5 days from the time I ordered it but the shipping company had to cancel the previous day because of a snow storm I would have had it in 4 days

I just cant say enough about this tv! I had friends over for a super bowl party and they could not believe it was a rear projection tv. My room is 25ftx 15ft. We set about 12ft. from the screen and there are no viewing angle issues!That icludes sitting and standing!The picture is as clear and crisp as any lcd tv.Anyone wanting a big screen tv better grab this one while you can. I hear samsung is also getting out of the rear projection business.You wont be sorry!

We recently purchased the HL67A750 from Vanns.com to replace our main TV, which was the HL-T5075s. The HL-T5075s was a wonderful TV, but we wanted bigger and the lure of a TV that didnt need bulbs. The fact that there are no bulbs to change is a great money saving feature, but on top of that, this TV is absolutely green! After the settings were calibrated, this TV clocked in at an astoundingly low 118watts according to Kill-A-Watt.

The 67 TV is a huge draw as well. Complete with the 1080p resolution, this TV actually capitalizes on the wonderful resolution. Blu-Ray movies are incredibly stunning. The picture-in-picture feature was somewhat disappointing since it only tunes analog channels, which Comcast intends to turn off in my area very soon. Compared to other TVs, including my HL-T5075s, this TV is wonderful.

I am a bit sad that Samsung has decided to discontinue DLP TVs. I believe this is the best value for the screen size possible. Not to mention that, Ive seen 50 plasmas that clock in at nearly 700watts when in use. Anyone who wants a huge screen, wonderful picture and lower power bill will benefit from this TV.

I cannot say enough about this tv. I just receieved this yesterday from FEDEX Freight. It took only 3 days to get here.I let this warm up 3 hours since it was cold outside. I did start plugging in accesories. Everything is on the side which is easy access. The TV was very easy to program when first initialized. The colors and blacks are beautiful.Directions are simple. What can i say. I put in a DVD and I got the goosebumps.All I could say was Oh, my gosh.Do not let this get away. I had done extensive research between LCD,Plasma, and DLP and the different manufacturers. This DLP LED engine is woth every penny! Also, I ordered from Vanns after extensive research from other websites and they get my vote. Again, easy setup, beautiful screen. DO NOT LET THIS GET AWAY!

Researched for months on end! Went to a number of electronics stores and viewed this set, along wiht others while hooked up to their store feeds. Set was never prominently displayed like the plasmas and lcds. But after reading all of the reviews and Vanns having the best price, along with top notch reviews for service after the sale, I ordered the set. Their communication was flawless during the order. Having had an older Sony projection hdtv that was a 53, I am blown away! Picture is awesome! Sound is tinny, but I have the set hooked up to my home theater system, so no big deal. But I can tell you, this set, for the money, is a tremendous value. I truly believe one would have to spend thousands more for a set that has this quality of a picture and of this size in a plasma or lcd! All I can say is if you are considering a large screen tv, consider this one..........and buy from Vanns!

Im very happy with the HL67A750. The picture is great for both SD and HD. The colors are great and the brightness results in better viewing than my old CRT when the sun hits the room. Overall Im quite happy. It is true that with rear projection you lose brightness and color if you view from an angle. For my setup and I suspect most this is not an issue. Best TV for the price!

I am also quite pleased with Vanns and the delivery. Although it was curb delivery the driver still helped me carry it into my house.

i actually ordered this tv on another web site but their customer service was non-existent so i cancelled and on customer comments on vanns service i ordered from vanns.

First off..kudos to Vanns! Buying something this large could not have been any easier. Item arrived with no issues. Got my new set fired up and the picture is stunning. I have a 50 plasma TV and this one just blows it away. After a little tweaking, I thought the sound coming from this set was very good. I still plan to hook up my surround sound, but the internal TV speakers are pretty decent. I am extremely pleased with the set and Vanns. Thanks!

The TV HAS AN AWESOME, FANTASTIC, JAW DROPPING PICTURE! I have had it for about a month now. Would have written a review sooner but could not pull myself away from it. I bought this TV about 6 months ago and am still stunned by how crystal clear and how huge the screen is. I came from a 50 inches Samsung DLP and this just blows it away. I was worried there wouldnt be enough of a size difference since it seemed 17 inches wasnt all that much but let me tell you its like comparing an apple to a watermelon.

I did have a spot of trouble when I got the tv with it failing to respond to my commands, both the remote nor the tv would stop responding at times. One call to Samsung and 2 days later a technician was out there to replace the main processing unit and its worked perfectly every since. I am very happy to know that Samsung backs up its products with fast, easy technical support.

This is my second TV from Vanns and I can tell you they have the best deals anywhere around, and believe me I researched it. They also get you your tv FAST which is great when youre like me and not the most patient person in the world once I pull the trigger on a major purchase. In closing id wholeheartedly recommend this TV, its just simply stunningly beautiful and I am so glad to have purchased.

The great price and LED light engine gave this TV the edge over its competitors. I was also evaluating the Mit. 73 and the Samsung HL72A650, but chose this one because of the LED light source and not having to worry about replacing the bulb. This TV is replacing a 46 Samsung DLP, which by the way is still working great and I have not yet had to replace the bulb. Ordering from Vann’s was simple and uneventful. The product was shipped on time and in perfect condition. TV performance is fantastic as detailed in many of the other reviews. You will see colors pop out on this TV that you have not seen before. This is partly due of course to the larger screen, but also due to the excellent original color replication. I have a 20’x24’ family room and the TV is NOT too big. I would have gone with a 72” if it was available with the LED light engine.

I also like the softer power onoff tone of this TV over my older set. This may seem like a trivial point, but I hated the obnoxious tone on my old set and would find myself muting the volume before turning off the set just to not have to hear it! You will not be disappointed with this TV.

More bang for a buck

I decided on a DLP for the value you get compared to Plasma & LCD tvs. I narrowed my choice down to Samsung from what info I could find about it & Mitsubishi. It came down to fine tuning the picture, though I havent felt the need to do so, Also I like the the idea of the LED light for brighter images because my room is fairly bright.

Im very happy with my choice!! The Samsung 67in. has delivered on all my needs.

On a product note, you wont need a super big tv stand, the base is only a hair over 39in. wide & only 13in. deep. So a stand that is 42in. wide will work just fine. The hook ups are to the side more than straight back so that makes it alot easier to make the connections.

Im so glad I found Vanns.com!! This has been my 1st purchase from them BUT wont be my last ...lookin to buy a reciever now... They were very friendly & helpfull in my purchase. Answered evey question directly. And lets not forget about the great pricing of theirs, best anywhere!!! I also like the package deals they offer, I took the one with the Harmony remote.

We had a 10 year old 60inch rear projection TV that needed replaced. This was my first foray into HDTV and after doing a lot of research decided on the HL67A750 by Samsung.

Vanns had the lowest price on the TV and had some great bundled deals. I went with the Pioneer DV-48AV upconverting DVD player bundle. I was very leery of purchasing such a big ticket item without actually getting some hands-on time with it first but took the plunge and ordered. Although I had never purchased anything from Vanns, I had only heard good things about them. I can honestly say that Ive never been happier with an online purchasing experience. Vanns was great about keeping me up to date on the progress of my order and the shipping time was outstanding. The TV and DVD player shipped separately and arrived on the same day, which was a huge bonus!

I got everything hooked up and WOW!!!! This TV has a great picture, intuitive menu and was a breeze to set up. I originally was not going to upgrade our satellite service to HD but after seeing the incredible picture produced by the Samsung HL67A750 and the Pioneer DV-48AV, I had to get as much HD as I could and upgraded our satellite.

I highly recommend the Samsung HL67A750, Pioneer DV-48AV and Vanns to anyone that is considering purchasing a new home entertainment setup. I will definitely buy from Vanns again. They did an outstanding job on this order and offered a great bundled deal.

Don't Rule Out Rear Projection TVs Yet!

Being the owner of a 1992 52 inch rear projection TV, I realized that it was time to make the jump to HDTV. This oak cabinet, 300 pound monster had served me well, but like an old worn out reclining chair, it was time to put it out to pasture actually moved it to the basement and hooked up the kids gaming equipment to it.

When I started my search, I was going the route of LCD or Plasma, since this seemed to be the latest technology and craze. But as I spent many hours and trips to some local big name retailers, the Samsung rear projection TVs kept catching my eye and attention. The 750 series models 61 or 67 inch had such an incredible picture, that I had to give them a serious look. The value for the size was an important deciding point for me, since I wanted to go bigger than the 52 inch I was going to turn into an arcade monitor.

The research I did on the internet is what led me to decide on the Samsung and also to deal with Vanns. The reviews on this TV were the most positive I had ever seen on almost any product. The LED light engine was also a huge factor, since so many people had issues with bulb replacements on other models of rear projection TVs. At first, I was concerned about ordering such a large product over the internet from a company in Montana I live in Michigan. A friendly conversion with a sales agent calmed those fears, as he explained how they were shipped and handled.

I placed my order on a Saturday and the unit was delivered to my house the following Thursday. The driver helped my son carry it into the house a huge box, but it only weighed a little over 100 lbs. After a careful inspection, everything was perfect and I had my new toy. Dealing with Vanns was a very positive experience and I wouldnt hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Overall, I saved big bucks $$$ compared to what I would have paid from the local retailers. The hook up of this TV was very easy and it actually fits on any stand that is at least 40 wide and 16 deep and can support 100 lbs. The picture in my house is even better than what I saw at the stores and I have already made the jump to a Blue Ray player.

Im very comfortable with the fact that I chose a rear projection TV and it seems that Samsung hasnt given up on this technology either. It really warrants a serious look by anyone looking for a large screen HDTV.

This was my first purchase with Vanns and also my first purchase of a TV over 40 inches. I researched HD TVs for months and have to say that this is the best television on the market today when you compare screen size, quality of picture, and price. No other TV manufacturer comes even close.

My girlfriend bought this for me for Christmas. The two of us were able to carry it in and had it set up in a matter of minutes. The menu and remote are real easy to use and the picture is breathtaking. I have a relatively small room approx 11 x 14 and sitting 9 feet from the set makes me feel like I am at the movies. The sound is adaquate at best which means you will want to hook it up to a surround sound system to really experience what this TV has to offer.

This TV is great for those using an Xbox 360 or PS3 which is why I asked for it. Playing games doesnt get any better than on this TV. My next thing I want to do is get a pair of 3D glasses and hook them up since this TV is 3D ready. I cant wait to try it out. My computer will also be used on this set thru the PC input jack on the side panel of this set.

Vanns delivery thru FEDEX was flawless as the set came in perfect condition all the way from Montana to New York. I never had such a smooth delivery and setup of anything before. This experience changed my way of internet shopping forever. I plan on buying all future gadgets from Vanns. All in all this is the best TV you can buy for the money in my opinion of course.

Like every one else, I looked at a lot of different TVs. A good friend told me to check out the Samsung HL67A750. He is now my best friend. What a fantastic TV! I wanted some thing big in my family room but didnt want to sacrifice the picture quality. The TV is unbelievable.

This TV is one of those products that till you see it in action its hard to believe it can have a picture this good. I have it hooked up to Direct-TV HD and the picture is so clear I want to block for the running back carrying the football. The sound quality is fine for me. After reading a few reviews of people saying the sound from the TV was poor at best must have ears like a bat. A TV like this deserves a good 5.1 or 7.1 surround sound system. I bought this TV for the picture but was happy with the TV speakers.

This was my first dealing with Vanns. It is so nice to call a business and talk to a person that can speak english. The two different people I chatted with at Vanns were very helpful and they even sounded happy to help me.
Vanns gets an A from me and I will be doing much more business with them.

The deliver of the TV was perfect. It came FedEx Freight. Right on time and the box was in perfect condition. A for them also.

The very best part of this whole experience.....my wife is HAPPY!!!!

This is a really great TV. Its an awesome value for your money and the picture is probably better than what you get with an LCD or plasma. For me, off-angle viewing was a non-issue based on the shape of our room and that is the only downside of a rear-projection versus the flat panel TVs. I really like the picture with the LED light source and it looks much better than the comparable Mitsubishi models. All in all, an excellent product.

The 67 Samsung Series 7 was well worth the wait. I spent several months researching and comparing HDTVs before stumbling across the HL67A750. The picture and quality for the size is absolutely incredible. I cannot have been more pleased with the size of the tv, especially considering the price that Vanns was offering.
The wife thought the size was going to overwhelm our basement, but with 22feet between the tv and our sitting area, the size could not be more perfect for the space.
I have only had the unit now for about a month and the only complaint I have is the sound quality. It seems to be somewhat muted, but with a Bose surround system you cant go wrong.
As far as shipping,not a single complaint. It was delivered curbside on time and within 5 business days to Springfield, IL without a scratch on it.
I recommend Vanns to everyone I come into contact with. I was skeptical in ordering something as big as this online, but their customer service was extremely helpful in answering all of my questions. vanns even credited my card recently because the tv went on sale 10 days after I received it. I couldnt be more happier. Thank You.

Vanns Is The Greatest Company Ive Ever Delt With For Buying The Samsung HL 67A750 Projection TV. The Customer Service Is The Best! And I Would Have Got It 3 Days Sooner Delivered To My Home, Thats How Fast They Deliver. Overall, This Has The Best Picture Ive Ever Seen And You Can See Every Detail When Looking At Hi Def Tv Movies, Sports,etc. I Bought This To Replace The Rca 61 Inch HDTV I Had. First, Vann,s cant be beat to do business with! And this was our first order. They treated us more than fair, I wont go in detail but it was to do with pricing.

The 67 inch TV was the largest item Ive ordered from the internet so I was a little hesitant about placing the order. I was concerned about curb side delivery. But that was NO problem! It was shipped the first day and in my home in 7 days. I already had picked up a HDDVR cable box at my cable company so it only took minutes for me to hook it all up.

Weve had the TV almost a month and love it the GREAT picture! We have a 32 inch wall mounted HD LCD in the bedroom but its a bore after watching the large Samsung. I think the Samsung is brighter than our LG LCD. Also I had never realized how poor my old 55 inch Toshiba projection TV had became.

Only complaint with the Samsung is the sound quality is not the best. But I have a Sony surround sound system so that takes care of the lower quality sound.

I would have rated the Samsung with all 5s had it not been for the lower quality sound.

I ordered this tv after much research and am glad I did. The picture rivals the samsung TOC LCDs at a fraction of the cost. Plus this tvs footprint is SMALL, campared to traditional RPTVs. If you have a traditional home theatre set up, and dont care about hanging your tv on the wall, there is really no reason to not buy this tv. The only down side is that you need to buy a tv base - I would recommend the Bush VS74962 at best worst buy for $250 - this stand matches the tv perfectly. And dont forget the HDMI cables, and to upgrade you cable or satelite service to HD !!!!!

First, Vanns service is top notch. No tax, no shipping AND a great price. The TV came in 2 days - couldnt believe it.

I wanted the biggest screen I could get and the Mitsubishi 73in WD 73835 was in by shopping cart until I noticed front projection LED by Samsung. Too bad its not made bigger.

The picture may not be as bright at first compared to the Mitsubishi 180 watt lamp go to a Circuit City or somewhere and the Mitsubishi looks brigher, but the LED doesnt dim and will stay bright much longer. Other selling points of the LED after some research are

1. No mechanical color wheel, quieter operation, and no mechanical failure.
2. Ultra fast switching of color LEDs in the light pack results in virtually no rainbow effect.
3. More directional light source and uses less energy than the lamp and WAY less than LCD or Plasma.
4. Wider color gamut resulting in better color and deeper blacks with no pixel break up like my other smaller LCD
5. The price on this TV was so good, I got a Blue-Ray player and a 7.1 theater system for less than the Mitsubishi! Dont forget youll still have to buy cables and speaker mounts and....so the price was awesome.

Im still in the process of hooking up HD Satellite and I was watching standard satellite on it and thought - whats the big deal?

But when I hooked up the Blue-Ray and theater system, I was blown away.

It obviously doesnt have the LCDPlasma brightness. But the size and clarity makes you feel like your in the theater. The blacks are so sharp and crisp lacking in my LCD in anther room, excellent color, smooth motion and with a screen this size, not too bright after couple hours watching. You can turn the lights off or leave them on and still great picture.

If you want a BIG screen without paying more than $4,000, you must consider this television.

I just received this TV last Thursday and everyone just loves it. It was best price to value we could get.
We adjusted some settings and even standard TV channels look great. i have connected my Samsung upconverting DVD player DVD-1080P8 and XBOX 360 to this TV with Onkyo HTS. We dont have to go to movie theater now.
Vanns Customer service was great and super fast delivery.

This television was purchased to replace a 57 Toshiba from 2001. The old television served a fruitful life and honestly felt it was in great shape until a friend pointed out some geometry issues. Ignorance is bliss i guess, so its time to go shopping!

Vanns was mentioned in an online forum after searching for a decent deal on a large screen DLP. Other vendors were mentioned, and each reviewed as carefully as i could, but Vanns stuck out above the rest. Their website is informative and professional, prices are the lowest i could find and they even included a free remote!

Im going to skip past the shipping portion of the review to discuss the television. I was amazed by how light in weight this unit is. Although bulky, it was a breeze to get the television into place and hooking it up couldnt be simpler! I love the fact that all of the connections are easily accessible on the side. It does make it difficult to hide the wiring though.

My HDTV cable was a 1 plug setup HDMI as was my PC. My game systems had no difficulty - the Wii looks amazing at even standard resolution! The next purchase is Blue Ray and wow, am i excited!

The picture quality is the best i have ever seen. Let me repeat, the best i have ever seen! Glare is minimal and pix elation at close viewing is at a minimum. I had no clue what i was missing in my old Toshiba until I made this decision.

I would also like to note the intelligent menu system. This is pure genius - Yes there are about 9 inputs or so, but rarely will we use all nine. The system moves those inputs which are used more often to the top of the menu choice as those which have no signal fall to the bottom! How cool!

Sound quality is as expected. Its not phenomenal in comparison to a 5.1 system but it can hold its own temporarily. I advise anyone who purchases this unit to take advantage of both your sense of sight and hearing and invest in a decent receiverspeaker set.

With all good, comes some bad. Shipping was more of a hassle than i would have liked. This falls out of Vanns hands and into your local shipping companies. Mine got stuck in the mud 20 minutes from my house. I took the day off of work only to find this out when i called at 500. I wound up driving to the truck and loading it onto the back of mine. So much for curbside shipping!

it replaces a older 55inch samsung that i have had for 6 yesrs the picture on the new tv far surpasses the older tv.was a little worried about
the distance the tv had to come not to worry it arrived perfect.would not hesitate to make future
