This is my second Samsung Smart TV and I would not own any other. The first was purchased a year ago and is a 42 inch and it still operates perfectly. This one is a 32 inch and in another room. I love the Internet connection and watching movies through Netflix. This is perfect for anyone using an over-the-air antenna only -- do not pay for cable TV - but want to watch movies. The remotes for the 42 and 32 inch TVs are the same so there was no learning curve. It was easy to connect the TVs to my home wireless network even for a non-techie. I just wish Samsung would put the remote control buttons in the same place on their remotes for their TVs and Blu-Ray players. Other than that, the TV and Blu-Ray player work seemlessly together.

I have owned this TV for 1 year and 5 months. At this time, thin vertical lines have begun to appear on the screen. Samsung online technicians helped me troubleshoot the problem but the final result was that it needed to be sent back for service.The one year warranty has passed. I am lucky I purchased a extended warranty for this yet to be proven technology and hopefully it will be repaired under that. Under the extended contract with Service.Net, they will send someone to my home for the repair. That said, I think this is a beautiful TV with an amazing picture. Because of the thinness the sound is flat and should be hooked up to a nice surround sound or simply a old pair of computer speakers I researched TVs for a long time before I finally selected this model. If the vertical line problem can be fixed I will be happy with my purchase. Dont dare buy this new TV technology without a extended warranty. I usually dont purchase extended warranties.The service company is expected to be here on July 12 2011 to fix and I will try to update my review after that. Since I paid for my purchase with my Discover Card, they automatically double the MFGs warranty so I will be covered under that also. As much as they charge for these TVs they should provide consumers a longer warranty period than they currently offer.

This TV has a look, no doubt. With that clear rim, really sharp acrylic base and thin profile, its more like a picture frame in the room than a bulky lump of a television. Picture is so lifelike -coming off the 780P that we had and always thought was so beautiful this 1080p picture jumps out at you- its almost like live video even when its on film. I wish I could say we've played with the settings past contrast, hue and color but it didn't need much to look stunning
