I bought the Samsung UN46D8000 TV a couple of weeks ago based on positive reviews from other web sites, its features and what I wanted in a TV. I believe I made a good decision. The TV is superb right out of the box, but I have improved it by using the myriad video and audio adjustments that are available. Seriously, what other TV in this price range has a six frequency audio equalizer like this one does? My only caveat is that the TV has a minor manufacturing flaw in the screen at the extreme right side of the screen. I didnt notice it for several days. Thats how minor it is. Plus, the flaw seems to be going away as the TV burns in. If the bezel around the screen was just another 18 inch wider, it would cover up the flaw. Overall, this TV has met all of my expectations. I would buy it again.

This may be one of the finest LCDLED panels every manufactured.
Picture Quality is excellent I am connected to DirecTV and even without running through my receiver, I think the audio quality is very good for down-firing speakers in such a thin bezel.
The bezel and unit are so thin, it looks like I have a photo hung on the wall and makes for a great viewing experience.
I have tried all of the social apps and they work as expected. where else can you be watching the game and tweeting about it at the same time on the same device? Movies from U-tube and Netflix have streamed without issue and look excellent!.
I am still getting into the whole 3-D experience but the one movie that I did watch with the family was very enjoyable though glasses are necessary. THe angle of view is also more limited when watching a 3-D movie but that is to be expected with current technology.
All-in-all this was a very pleasant acquisition with pricing, shipping and performance all meeting or exceeding my expectations. and I am one picky consumer

My wife and I have had this television for slightly less than a month and we do absolutely love it. The picture is brilliant and the color contrast really pops. I feel that the blacks are substantially better than previous LEDs specifically my C6300, though not a fair comparison due to micro-dimming. It is aesthetically beautiful, I love the ultra-thin bezel. The 3D picture is good though I will admit I did like the Panasonics 3D picture slightly better. And though I am still adjusting the picture, I can not completely remove the light leak around the edges but again it is far better than my C6300.

I have not bought a TV for over 18 years and was adamant about spending money on a flat screen. once I received my TV, we decided to put our old TV in the garage, something I had a hard time with. Once assembled, I was hooked, he color, clarity, 3-D, and being a Smart TV, and I was able to see all my movies from Netflix. This is truly a wonderful innovation and this is a must have TV if you are in the market for one. Since I am not technologically savvy, i gave ease of use a 4, nothing to do with the TV itself. Vanns price was about $300.00 cheaper than the other on-line stores. This was one of the reason we made the purchase. We received a lot of goodies with the TV for free. The blue tooth 3-D glasses are top-notch. Yo cannot go wrong...thank you VANNS. You get literally everything with this Smart TV, I do not want to brag, you have to see it to believe it.

The UN46D8000 LED TV from Samsung is the best TV I have ever owned. With its amazing picture and all of the features of the new Samsung Smart TV none come even close. It was super simple to setup and get going and the picture is amazing. It has the best 3D I have seen to date and the new 3D glasses arent bulky and make it a true 3D experience with very little ghosting. The Samsung apps are super simple to use and it also connected automatically to my Samsung home theater system without doing anything but plugging in an HDMI cable. I would recommend this TV to anyone looking for a new high end HD TV.

Black letterboxes finally look almost pitch black! Close to Kuro, not there yet but close. This is a significant improvement from my 46C8000. Thank you Samsung, and thank you Vanns.
