The 19LV611U's built-in DVD player handles DVD-Video, CD, VCD, DVD-R/RW, and CD-R/RW discs. It's also DivX Certified so you can play all DivX video versions, including DivX 6, downloaded from the Internet to a personal computer and stored on a CD-R/RW. It even plays WMA and MP3 files burned to CD-R/RW media. There are built-in titanium stereo speakers, so there's no need to plug in to your home audio system; but if you want to connect this TV to your home theater, a coaxial digital audio output will supply multichannel sound. There's even an analog PC input, so you can connect directly to your computer. Who says you have to compromise counter or shelf space for style and performance?

Bells and whistles
Toshiba also packed the 19LV611U with other convenient features like a multi-language on-screen display, headphone output, and VESA-compliant mounting holes (100mm pattern). Digital Picture Zoom allows you to select an area of the DVD picture you want to zoom in on and magnify it. Enhanced digital processing during moving video or freeze-frame playback produces superior color fidelity and resolution, even when you're zoomed in. Fast scan and slow motion help DVD navigation; and the 19LV611U features multi-camera angle select, multi-subtitle select, and an on/off timer.
A scene for every screen
Toshiba's TheaterWide modes are ideal for displaying HDTV input as well as for DVDs enhanced for widescreen television. TheaterWide 1 produces a letterboxed image digitally expanded 33 percent horizontally and vertically, useful for reproducing Academy Standard (1.85:1) formatted software. TheaterWide 2 produces a letterboxed image expanded 33 percent horizontally and 42 percent vertically. This is particularly useful for viewing narrow letterboxed images originally filmed in Panavision or CinemaScope. And TheaterWide 3 produces a letterboxed image expanded 33 percent horizontally and 24 percent vertically, useful when displaying letterboxed images that incorporate narrow bands at the top and bottom of the picture.

I got the set on time and set it up and did not take long to get it ready.This HDTVDVD is great my channel come smooth and clear,the dvd slot fust take in the dvd disc and starts to play.The adjustment are fine and keeps the hd color just wonderful and the screen size is really nice and it can tilt aswell. The sound really good too.This is the best HDTVDVD Toshba product I ever bought.

I did my research before I bought this TV. I looked everywhere, online and in store. I comparred features, warranties, service, and prices. This Toshiba TV has the most features, best support and warranty, and is cheaper than the comparrable products. I have had it nearly a month, and I am totally and completely satisfied! Great purchase. I only have one recomendation, if planning to watch TV above or below the screen, buy a tilting wall mount. The vertical viewing angle is the only drawback, but if you can adjust its angle or aspect as with a tilting wall mount, the picture is perfectly clear.

My wife was impressed by the attractive design of the Toshiba 22LV611Us white cabinet. It matches perfectly with her decor. We appreciate the excellent picture quality while viewing dvds and satellite broadcasts. The remote is very user friendly.
If someone has limited space available, this Toshiba tvdvd combination is the solution. You can be viewing tv or dvds within minutes because of the easy set up process.
After extensive research, we purchased the Toshiba 22LV 611U TVDVD because of its compact size, white cabinet, remote design,and the known quality of Toshiba products.

The unit arrived well packed and easy instruction to connect properly. The only issue I had was that the remote volume and channel buttons are right next to each other. Should you accidently hit the channel button you are knocked off the digital setting and onto analog. To get back is NOT INTUITIVE. Required a call to service to get instruction on how to move from analog to digital.
Rest is easy and good quality. Very happy.

The Toshiba flat screen is just what I wanted. The right size, good quality picture, great sound, easy to find a wall mount to fit it, sensible remote and an indepth owners manual. I mounted this unit in my office on a swing arm wall mount and love it. The DVD player is flawless. I would recommend this unit to friends.

I purchased the Toshiba Flat Panel Television model#26LV610U for two reasons. First, the compact size fit perfectly into my bedroom. Second, the combo with the DVD player let me maintain a clutter-free area without having a separate DVD player attached to the TV. The instructions to set up the TV were easy to use and the unit worked perfectly on the first try. I would recommend it for people who dont want or need the very large screens to enjoy shows. The clarity of the picture is excellent, unless you are lying down below the level of the screen. Then the picture is not clear. I checked numerous stores and on-line sites before buying this TV and believe I got an excellent value for my money. I own other Toshiba electronics, so I knew the quality would be good, and it has not disappointed me. Since I dont own any other TVDVD combo products, I have no other comparisons to make, but it certainly looks nicer only having one cable box attached versus a cable and DVD player.
