It's got connections
The 15LV506's built-in DVD player is great! Its saves you space by eliminating the need to make room for an independent DVD player, and it doesn't require any hookup. But DVD isn't the your only source of video. Thanks to its multiple input options, this Toshiba LCD offers versatile connectivity. First, you can use the ColorStream HD component-video input to feed HD television programming to the high definition 720p LCD panel. Second, thanks to an S-video input, you can easily hook a gaming console to the 15LV506. Also, if you're looking to enhance your DVD video experience, you can use the Dolby Digital and dts compatible digital coaxial audio output to send a DVD's audio signal to a surround sound speaker setup (sold separately).

We removed the base and used a bent piece of aluminum in its place to lower the unit. It now fits under our microwave shelf in a 12 inch vertical space. So we dont use the DVD slot on top. We use external speakers, so cant evaluate the built-in ones. The remote takes 2-3 seconds to change channels. The picture is beautiful.

I love being able to put a cooking dvd in my kitchen and have the clarity and sound quality of chef teaching me to cook, its like there right next to me. The look and ease of this model has me sold as does the value in the price compared to the large box model I used without dvd. I wont go back to a model without dvd or without the crisp color Im now used to.

A great companion in my kitchen. Digital pictures are beautifully displayed at full 1080i. even though it is rated 750p. Colors are great and stereo sound w surround sound is very good considering the size of the unit. It plays DVDs beautifully. I rate it at 5 stars.

Just received my white toshiba 15 inch tvDvd. I love it . The quality appearance is amazing! I am already making plans to get their larger white tv for my bedroom. The service was outstanding. Will buy Toshiba again..
