The Real Cinema experience, at home
Way out west in Tinseltown, your favorite films are recorded at 24 frames per second. Unfortunately, most television content is recorded at 30fps, so most televisions are designed to display motion pictures at this speed. Until now, the solution has been to interpolate, or add, artificial scenes into 24fps content in order to "stretch" it to fit a TV's 30fps capability. Recent demands on the part of movie lovers for an authentic home-cinema experience have lead to technological advancements making a 24fps experience possible at home. High definition video like that recorded onto Blu-ray Disc contains 24p (or, progressive-scan 24fps video content) that brings true film into your home. But wait! There's still one more piece the puzzle. While true 24fps film makes it from Hollywood to your Blu-ray player, just like a movie-house feature film, it needs a screen to be enjoyed . . . i.e. your flat panel needs to be able to display 24p content. Video processing isn't video processing without an engine. An XD Engine, that is. This is a great TV for the money for certain. I chose LG because, for a bedroom TV, this would get alot of use and I see LGs in most hotel rooms. Figured they could take the use! I love the TV. Easy to use. All the features I need and the price was right through Vanns. This is the 2nd HDTV flatscreen I bought through Vanns and I tell everyone that will listen to go there.

This terrific LCD was purchased as a replacement for a Sony Bravia 720p to get maximum enjoyment that true 1080p offers.The LG was a breeze to set up, and there are plenty of connections provided for every need. I like using the easily adjustable picture modes. High contrast, very wide viewing angle, and strong color rendition makes this picture quality equal to or better than any competitors that Ive seen. It has good sound and sleek, polished looks too. Nice that it swivels. You get it all for a price that one normally pays for far less quality. Extensive shopping online and in stores showed me Vanns really is the place to buy if you want the best prices and fast service.

This is the first time Ive considered purchasing such a high quality electronic device via the internet and having worked in shipping in the past I was skeptical to say the least. After consulting with Vanns Customer Service I took the plunge and was very impressed with the excellent job of packing and protecting my new LG Flat Panel HDTV! It arrived on time and without any problems at all!
This 37 inch LG is now my new computer monitor. Its clarity, refresh rate and ease of set up are all phenomenal and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a large screen computer monitor or Flat Panel HDTV!

We recently purchased the LG 37LH30 from Vanns. We chose this model as a result of research and a recommendation from a consumer magazine. We are very happy with the quality, size & picture. The LG 37LH30 has made watching movies at home much more enjoyable and my husband was thrilled with the quality of the picture when watching a football game! We chose Vanns because of the outstanding price they offered. Ordering was so easy & I received our television about 4 days earlier than expected, which was a nice surprise! We are very pleased with our purchase, both with the television and with Vanns.

We received our LG flat screen right on schedule. It came double boxed and there was no damage. The TV was easy to set up and the color is excellent. We especially like the fact that we can hook up our PC to the TV to watch home movies. We will certainly buy again from Vanns.

The picture quality and the sound are amazing for this price. LG has really picked up their products quality to that of high end sets, such as Samsung and Sony. This set is like a piece of artwork.
