The TV is wonderful. The built in Samsung Apps are great and the Netflix app is much like the iPAD you can search for items and we watch Hulu quite a bit as well.
Only thing that has been a bug-a-boo for us is getting the return channel from the TV to work right back to the Denon receiver I have for sound out of the Netflix and Hulu. To get the sound to work I have to enable HDMI detection on the receiver and when I try to watch in regular TV mode the TV confuses the receiver by sending audio signal and I have to constantly reset back to SAT TV. Then it works fine.

I'm not easily impressed by the bells and whistles of electronics as I am a techy. I did my research on this TV and it was readily apparent that Samsung is a major player in LED technology. The models I looked at where the previous models and they were very nice. I ordered this on Amazon from Vanns and they beat every other price by hundreds. The shipping was free and there was no tax. The setup was simple and I wall mounted it. The first time the picture came up I literally dropped my jaw. This newest model has hit it out of the ballpark. This TV blows away the previous model. If you buy this TV, you simply will not be disappointed. I am now looking at the 40 for my bedroom!

wow what bargain compare to 8000 i am one of the dealer in canada we just got this tv we have UN55D800 & UN55D7900 side by side IF THIS TV IS NOT MORE THEN 8000 MORE IMPORTANT ITS NOT LESS EITHER AND WITH LESS MONEY TO PAY

This TV is a great design. I had an older model C8000 series which was great too. I like the design of this tv because of the thin border. Really comes out great when you hang it on the wall. Other than that. The TV came defective right out of the box, It function properly the first day than the next day, there was flash light came out from the top left corner of the TV which blew the TV picture quality. The flash light goes on and off. The picture quality is worse than C8000 series even though I am using high end Monster HDMI Cables. The Smart hub is slow to load, sometime you will have to unplug the power cord to refresh the TV than the smart hub comes on. I paid 3500 for this TV just to enjoy the smart hub function which doesnt work flawlessly. So dont pay money for this feature. I couldnt test the 3D feature because it didnt come with the glass, i had to wait another couple weeks to get the glass. I think Samsung should have waited to release this TV on the market. The only thing I like about this TV is the built in wireless feature. Other than that its not worth of the money. Thanks to VANNS for taking this TV back. I always shop with you and never change my mind to go to another retailer.
