After a lot of shopping around, I ordered the Samsung LN32A450 from Vanns. Their free shipping had it at my door in six days. It was well packed and in excellent condition. All together, I saved over $100.00 buying from Vanns.
Set up was easy. Plug it in and it almost programs itself. Digital reception is crisp and clear, while analog broadcasts leave something to be desired, as I had expected. Performance is top on the line and trouble free. The remote is easy to use in day light, but it would be nice if it were illuminated or glowed in the dark. Audio is very good.
It was purchased for our family room, but the base size was a problem with our particular wall unit, so it now resides in the bedroom. 32 Panasonic will solve the wall unit dilemma - not Samsungs fault. |

When I needed a new TV for my living room I went to CNET.com and Consumer Reports to do some research. After deciding on the Samsung 32 LCD it was time to buy. I had never heard of Vanns before but decided to use them based on price and the fact that they were an approved vendor on CNET.com. I placed my order online on a Saturday and despite the fact that Im about as far from Montana as you can get NJ I received the TV the following Friday - less than 1 week, with no shipping costs.
Vanns exceeded my expectations and so does the TV. So far its perfect for my needs and is a good value in this price range. Im not an expert on HD TVs so this review wont help you there, I just want a product that does what its supposed to do - work. The Samsung does just that and I find that Im watching it more than the Panasonic 42 Plasma I have in our basement. |
