The Samsung 40a650 is the best LCD television available, hands down. The picture is absolutely amazing, unbelievable color, contrast, picture quality, and ability to process HD images. Standard definition even looks great on this television, while my HD cable will almost put you in a trance. I dont have a blue-ray player but have had the opportunity to view one in the store. It will leave you speechless. The 40a650 is a sexy, sleek, package with an unbelievable picture, 1080p, plenty of connectivity options, 120hz, lightning fast 4ms response time, picture that rivals the most expensive plasmas out there, and more options than you can shake a stick at! The picture is unbelievable straight out of the box, with the hdmi cable, but for the high tech types, there are unlimited calibration options to explore. The only 2 small complaints I have, which are very minor, is the remote has a button that spins and is hard to navigate, but Vanns.com gives you an awesome universal remote that basically customizes your entire home theater system through an online setup process that is very simple, and it programs itself to control everything. So essentially eleminating complaint #1. Complaint 2 is the speakers arent the best, dont get me wrong they are very clear and crisp, not to mention totally hidden, but for a television of this caliber, it deserves a home theater speaker system to compliment the superior picture quality. Wonderful television, and equally wonderful transaction with Vanns.com. They provided a great product at a great price, with speedy delivery. Worthwhile investment, from a reputable company.

Typically, I do not post reviews but I just had to share the terrific experience with Vanns.com. The shipment arrived one day ahead of estimate -both pieces arrived together -in perfect condition, double boxed. I ordered the omnimount 1N1L wall mount with the flatpanel. Easy to install, has some flexibility horizontally, not so much vertically so select your height carefully, but great for the money. I did my homework researching the TV so I expected it to be amazing - and it is. Wonderful picture quality and loads of features. The remote lights up with a push of button. Many other features yet to explore. Overall, wonderful purchase experience. Highly recommend Vanns.com
