The set arrived yesterdayless than 1 week from day I ordered it from Vanns from Fed EX and I went to work almost as soon as I got it into my house.
It came with a wall mount which was part of the package dealOMNI Mount Platinum and although it is just a standard mount it works well. I then assembled TV after mounting wall mount and installed on the wall. Hooked up all cables and all I can say is WOW!!! Picture is as good as all the reviews that I had read about it and as far as Sound,well it is the same as all the reviews that I had read about it,adaquate at best. The sound is tinny and not much bass at all,seems that it always has to be turned up to hear and then the Bass sounds poor and distorted.
If you have a surround sound which you should when purchasing a TV like this it will make all your sound issues go away. I have only watched this set for 1 day but it has so far looked great. Vanns delivered as promised,got to actually talk to a salesperson when I phoned in my order and had a tracking number that night. I also found that the set was not a old model as the serial number shows it was produced just 2 months ago so if you ever feel like the reason that you are getting such a good deal from Vanns is that you are getting last years set,dont worry about it as in my case that was not the case. I would highly recommend this set to someone looking for excellent picture quality without breaking the bank. I will update this review after a few months of ownership after the initial Newness has worn off...
