I bought our 40inch TV for my husband for Christmas. I cannot say how easy it was. I had a question about the timing for the shipping, called and was pleasantly surprised at the courtesy, helpfulness and all around hospitality of Vanns. They even took my order over the phone. Indeed, the TV came on time, in excellent condition, and looks fabulous at the end of our bed in our room.
I could not say how pleased that my Husband was. The picture is as good or better than our plasma TV in the game room. I felt the whole experience was awesome. I will buy our next TV from Vanns in heartbeat- especially bc of their prices and the over all experience.

We picked the Toshiba 40RV525R as a TV for a TV, DVD, and exercise room. We have owned it since Christmas 2009.
The biggest benefit of this TV is its tremendous value in performance versus cost.
Assembly is extremely easy. The picture is very clear and the TV with remote are, overall, easy to use. The integral speakers are sufficient for our needs, but we could foresee a home theater speaker system someday.
The TV settings are a little too automated. We wish that the Input function simply switched between the available input modes rather than requiring a mode to be picked from a list. We also wish that brightness and contrast were easier to set manually.
We recomment Toshiba brand for TV buyers on a budge.

The television has very vibrant colors, deep blacks and overall just a very good buy. The sound isnt the strongest but its the only small complaint I can think of.

I am very pleased with the Toshiba 40 LCD TV. It was easy to get working and needed no tweaking. The only negative I have to add is that the picture get light and loses it HD definition at a 45 degree viewing angle. But then, I understand thats true with LCD TVs.

I use the tv, as a security system monitor. It is mounted on the wall, for group viewing. We love it. Installation and setup were quick and easy, just plugged in the vga, from the security dvr system, and away we went. Picture is great.

Very happy with this TV. The picture is very sharp, I have it hooked to a Dish Network HD reciever and the picture is great! Sound is a little weak as in all large lcd TVs but I have it hooked to my surround system and that takes care of that.

Sleek lines and crystal clear HD quality - what more could you ask for a reasonably priced flatscreen?
Purchased as a second screen for gaming and rec room use, the Toshiba 40RV sits nicely framed on a wall. Adequate inputs and sound quality make it the perfect set for its intended use in our rec room.
For the serious COD4 user to the hack Guitar Hero parent user, a nice larger screen that is being enjoyed.

I could not ask for a better value than from this television! The picture quality is surely of note. When comparing this to other televisions in the same price bracket, this one had the better picture quality and more features. For instance, it has more HDMI ports than others in the price range. Ive also used it quite frequently for my PC and the picture for that is wonderful as well. Anyone who is looking for an affordable television with great quality should look to this product. Im one hundred percent satisfied!

Contemplated Toshiba 40 lcd vs. Samsung 40 starter model. Only a few dollars difference in price. I own a Samsung 52 650 model with a great picture quality. The Toshiba has almost as good a picture quality, but has much more flexability in hook up options than the equvalently priced Samsung. Vanns had a great price on the Toshiba. Im happy with the value.

I like this Toshiba TV more the longer I have it. It has all the features you could want for expansion or convenience. Just saying that it has three HDMI connections will give you an idea. I did a lot of research regarding customer reviews, features, price, and vendors. This Toshiba came out on tops, along with Vanns. The packaging was very well done and shipping was fast. The TV is excellent quality, with the exception of the volume - it seems a little quiet. The picture quality is awesome and we are super excited that we dont have to squint anymore to watch movies. After Santa delivered it Christmas Eve it was a breeze to put together and set up so the kids were excited the next morning. The controls and manual were simple to read and we had no problems.

The tv is in my sons game room and he loves it. The picture is great, he plays XBOX 360 and PS3 live , the games look very good on this tv. We like the screen size adjustment feature, it allows you to see movies and games on the full screen that are normally in wide screen.
