Infinity plus one
Infinity, as a concept or mathematical construct, is nearly impossible to wrap our mind around. So we're not going to try. Instead, we're just going to appreciate the Infinite Black screen on the Panasonic TCP55ST30 for what it does: providing incredibly deep black levels for your favorite movies, television, or even photos, and reducing harsh, picture-destroying glare. With such rich contrast, you'll be able to easily appreciate the expanded color gamut from the x.v Color engine, and the finer control provided by Deep Color compatibility. If infinity on its own is a hard concept to take at face value, then combining Infinite Black with 3D is best just enjoyed with your favorite 3D movie to add an incredible level of depth to your entertainment time. Of course, all this incredible color and picture quality requires content for you to enjoy it, and Panasonic provides nearly infinite options thanks to its VieraCast IPTV, giving you access to streaming services like Netflix, Hulu Plus, Amazon VOD, YouTube, and more. You can even add a Wi-Fi adaptor to bring it to your new television wirelessly. Infinity isn't an easy concept to understand, but with the TCP55ST30, it's an easy concept to sit back and enjoy.

This TV had good reviews and seemed like a good value for the money. I wasnt disappointed. Luckily I read a review on 3D TV buyers guide which explained how to set the picture settings using their professional custom settings rather than the recommended Panasonic settings, which werent that good. The picture is excellent.

I had been looking at 55-65 TVs for a while. I read the Cnet reviews and asked my videophile friends, all of them recommended the Panasonic Plasma line 1080p, 600Hz, 3D. They said the ST30 is the best value and the VT30 is gorgeous, but may only give you THX and minimally additional features. About the TV Refresh rate is outstanding. I am a dude I like sports and action movies. I have never seen any kind of blur on this TV. Even the LED 120Hz it is occasionally noticeable. Awesome for sports. You absolutely need to set the TV to Game Mode for brightness sake, but hockey, and football look awesome. Fantastic blacks! There is real definition in the color, with the contrast ratio it is amazing. Lighting is key for this TV. This TV performs better dark with some back lighting. I have a patio window in the room that I keep this TV, I got some black out shades and it has made it fantastic. I also put two wall lights behind, and the room is light, but the TV gets no glare and looks fantastic. Internet capabilities are ...OK. This is not a Samsung Smart TV but I think the internet interface is usable and when paired with a Wi-Fi capable Blu-Ray player I also have a Panasonic, you can unlock a lot of content and stream Blu-Rays. One thing, my TV came without the dongle for Wi-Fi make sure you check the box for it before you sign anything. I think mine got lost in shipping and I had to buy another. Sound is good. I added a Yahama receiver and I am getting great surround now. Dont rely on the TVs sound alone. There are good soundbars that will make it usable without adding the surround sound package but it is so worth it.

I usually stick with Sony or samsung for my electronics never had a problem with either companies. Saw the a good deal on this so bought it got it home it wouldnt turn on. Got a second one for return same problem. Having the same problem like that shows poor manufacturing QA and makes me wonder about their other products. Now I will be TV less for the superbowl thanks Panasonic not only has your product ruined my superbowl weekend but returning refunds will not pay for the money I payed to get the TVs home.

Ordered this TV from the clearance outlet at a discount. However unit was destroyed during shipping. Discovered the screen was shattered upon inspection at arrival. Refused shipment and called Vanns to let them know about the damage. They issued me a refund for the purchase.
