Infinity plus one
Infinity, as a concept or mathematical construct, is nearly impossible to wrap your mind around. So we're not going to try. Instead, we're just going to appreciate the Infinite Black screen on the Panasonic TCP46ST30 for what it does: providing incredibly deep black levels for your favorite movies, television, or even photos, and reducing harsh, picture-destroying glare. With such rich contrast, you'll be able to easily appreciate the expanded color gamut from the x.v Color engine, and the finer control provided by Deep Color compatibility. If infinity on its own is a hard concept to take at face value, then combining Infinite Black with 3D is best just enjoyed with your favorite 3D movie to add an incredible level of depth to your entertainment time. Of course, all this incredible color and picture quality requires content for you to enjoy it, and Panasonic provides nearly infinite options thanks to its VieraCast IPTV, giving you access to streaming services like Netflix, Hulu Plus, Amazon VOD, YouTube, and more. You can evenconnect the included Wi-Fi adaptor to bring it to your new television wirelessly. Infinity isn't an easy concept to understand, but with the TCP46ST30, it's an easy concept to sit back and enjoy.

This plasma has a fantastic picture in both HD and SD. I had to play with the settings because I didn't care for the standard or cinema modes which are too dark. There are websites out there that give professional settings for this TV if you look around. I was watching golf in HD with my father-in-law and he couldn't believe how good the picture was. He said he wanted to dive into the TV and be on the golf course. I'm a big hockey fan also and that looks great too, much better than on my LCD. The sound isn't the greatest but it never is on the flat panels. The wireless internet works flawlessly also. I would definitely recommend this TV.
