HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) is the only interface in consumer electronics that can carry both uncompressed high-definition (HD) video and uncompressed multi-channel audio in all HD formats including 720p, 1080i and even 1080p. Your incoming media content comes in a variety of sizes, resolutions and formats, and with that in mind, HDMI systems automatically configure to display that content in the most effective format. Since HDMI carries all channels on video and audio, there is only one cable to plug into any HDMI-enabled source and display device. Purchased this TV two weeks back,TV came via FedEX on time, Great TV for the price & quality. I have 2 Sony 55 LED 810NX TVs, needed one for my Den, did not want to spend $2200,00, so i decided on a Plasma,for a third that LED would cost, absolutely fabulous quality in HDMI mode..

I received the tv last week and after 1 week of watching it I give it a 5 star rating. The picture is awesome and the sound is much better than anticipated!! It came with 2 free 3d glasses and the 3d image was amazing. For the money there is not a better tv available!!!

Overall. A solid tv. Have another TV 1080p. Can tell the different in picture from 720p to 1080p. Not many features-no netflix or other apps, but picture is great. Also, easy to hang on the wall, Much thinner than Pansonic tvs. I think good choice if you want to try 3-d tv.. Price is good and the 2011 samsung glass are cheap, If you goto samsung site, they are only 50.00 each.
