What a great experience -- in 6 days we had the TV in our home. Very nice clean, black housing. Swivel is great too if you need it. Picture quality is very good. The bundle included a universal harmony remote -- will be receiving it tomorrow -- then it is just one remote to control everything! Fantastic price. My brother-in-law is an electronics guru -- he never steers me wrong on Vanns.com or the products we are interested in.

Ive had our TV for about a month now and Im very happy. It was a last minute switch from the Pansonic 700U. I decided when it hit my target price that Id pull the trigger. Well, it didnt happen that way. Samsung hit my price before the 700U and Im glad it did. The picture is absolutely stunning. I could not be happier with my purchase. I was very scared to make such a big purchase and to have it shipped all the way across America. It was worth the wait.
The menu is not that complicated to navigate and the sound is not too bad I also bought a ONKYO home theater sound system. All in all Im very, very, very Happy.

Let me start off this review by stating that Vanns.com is the undisputed place to buy electronics. This is my second purchace from them the first being a 42 inch Samsung LCD TVand I couldnt be happier. Vanns has unbeatable pricing, with free shipping and usually includes a nice added bonus in this case a Samsung upconvert DVD player!.

The Samsung FPT5884 arrived at my door in less than a week from when I placed my order online! The box was huge. I opened it and found my self staring at this gorgeous, huge, and heavy beast of a Plasma flatscreen. A 58 inch plasma flatsceen to be exact. I chose this TV for its price, its 150001 contrast ratio. Its 1080p picture. It has picture in picture. Its got 3 HDMI ports. 2 S-video ports. This TV is awesome.

The menu is very easy to navigate through and easy to make adjustments to the picture, sound, channel set-up etc... I have owned a lot of TVs, but this by far takes the cake with the best picture image that I have ever seen.

It even has a USB port through which I can listen to my MP3s or watch a slide show of JPG images from my jump drive! It has a game mode for increased quality when playing video games and an awesome anti-burn in feature which makes it virtually impossible to burn images into the screen.

For the money, this Plasma TV is unbeatable! Beautiful picture, easy to set-up. Awesome contrast ratio. I dont have a problem watching this TV with the window blinds wide open and the sun shining in. No glare what-so-ever. The viewing angle is enormous! Up-converted DVD movies look superb on this TV. I cant say enough about how much I like this TV. The TV is heavy and you will need at least two people to move it around. It also gives off some heat. Not issues, just observances.

Buy this TV and you wont be dissapointed. I would wager that the picture quality would stand toe to toe with TVs costing twice as much. Buy Buy Buy it from Vanns.com though of course.
