I received the DVD player as a gift and I have only used it two times. I still need the directions in front of me -- the menu button is not that obvious but I have been able to figure it out. The sound is good. I havent used the rechargable battery yet but will be flying this weekend so I may find out how long it really lasts. So far I like it.
I like the idea of being able to hook it up to a regular TV screen so I can use it to play DVDs where there is no DVD player.

Wow, great functionality, solid construction. I love the pivoting screen that allows you to view a movie at virtually any angle. Soft touch buttons are a huge improvement over past applications. I love the remote control so I dont have to be right next to the player and can easily turn up the volume. And whats not to like with virtually the color of your choice and at a great Vanns price!
