An easy to use device especially when connected via one HDMI v1.3 cable. It delivers fantastic picture quality via HD upconversion of a standard DVD just as promised. Quiet and has a neat, easy to see LED screen on the front. Truly a great value.

I hear just a bit of noise from time to time at startup but never during playback.

I was looking for a solid DVD player and I believe the Sony DVP-NS710HB is it. The menus and connections are nothing amazing but offer solid options. For the price it has thus far been a great player.

This player is really good. I just plugged it in, played an older DVD. The picture was sharp and clear, much better than the previous player. Have enjoyed watching photos from the CD collection on the big screen and the music cds offers great sound.

We have not had any problems viewing netflix movies with this Sony as our other one had a lot of trouble with that.

This is a great buy. My TVs are Sony and that makes this even more compatible. Rather than using 4 remote controls, I simply need the one that comes with the player for almost everything. Its quick, fast, and the quality of the picture is very good. Sizewise its perfect. The only thing Ive found I cant figure out is how to eject the DVD when Im through.

I felt the price was very reasonable and the shipping time was fast, fast, fast! Just as an added note... I like it so much that Im considering purchasing another one for my HDTV.
