I have bought a lot of great items from your site but by far and away the Samsung BD player for just over $60 takes the cake.
I recently bought a pair of Mythos ones at a very good price and thought it wouldnt get any better but it did and does. Thank you sooooooooooooooooooo much!

It seems like a decent blu-ray player. All the functions seem to work as expected. Good web apps built-in. Only negative is searching using a 10 key on the remote as opposed to full keyboard using a remote device such as ipad. Unfortunately the ipad app doesnt work properly. If this worked properly I would rate 5 out of 5 stars. I dont use the wireless feature due to having LAN available so streaming does not seem to be an issue.

I was really excited to get this player and utilize it for watching Netflix streaming as well as Blu Ray discs. It works great for Blu Rays, but is basically unusable for Netflix. It is extremely slow to start the Netflix app, and then it is constantly re-buffering and crashing or the videoaudio is very jumpy. I know this is not at all related to my internet connection because I can watch on other devices Wii, iPad, or Laptop and Netflix works perfectly without the re-buffering etc... Overall I find the device excellent for watching discs, but absolutely useless for all the additiona application features which is toughts.

THE NEW FEATURE OF BEING ABLE TO CHOOSE MOVIES TO STREAM FROM NETFLIX DIRECTLY THRU THE PLAYER IS AWESOME. ON MY OLDER MODEL, I HAVE TO CHOOSE MOVIES ON THE NETFLIX WEBSITE FROM MY COMPUTER. This is a terrific machine...well priced, full of features and very easy to set up. The only thing they dont tell you is that the WIFI effectiveness is only guaranteed within 20 feet of your modem. If you plan on using the WIFI features beyond that range you may need to buy a signal repeater. My machine is upstairs and my modem is downstairs so Netflix is constantly rebuffering.

This Blu Ray player is fantastic, I love the apps available for download. Very easy to setup out fo the box, super slow to post something to facebook, but its not really needed.
The only drawback so far is that to rent a movie you need Samsung Cash that you must purchase, rather than hooking up an account with your bank.
Great video, Great audio.

I purchased this with a new tv, primarily for the purposes of streaming Netflix. It does NOT do so, Samsung says it is Netflixs problem and Netflix claims we are working on it, keep trying. That was ten days ago still cant stream Netflix. Pick a different player...and btw, Netflix claims this issue is with several Samsung devices, so beware of Samsung product.

The price was great and the company we bought this through was great, but the DVD player itself is not very good. It is very slow when connecting to the internet. It sometimes does not connect to the TV causing us to unplug it and plug it back in which seems to help. The picture quality is really nice, especially Blu Ray, and the WiFi feature is nice. Overall, we were a little disappointed in this DVD player.

Bad
1. user manual lacks sufficient information for example default 4 digit security code 0-0-0-0 not indicated. Need to search internet for additional information
2. often has to be restarted to connect to Samsung TV using anynet, minor annoyance
3. sometimes unit fails to connect to network wired have to unplugreplug power cord
4. Wireless WiFi inadequate for steaming video from PC via network
5. When watching .mkv HD video via network or flashdrive, subtitles & audio options that work on PC may or may not be available.
Overall a good, though imperfect, player, that could be better worth the money.

Several consumer reports listed this as the best performing and value Blu-ray disc player currently on the market. They were right !!! Compared to my other blu-ray player it displays a crystal clear picture and was much easier to set up and to operate. The WiFi component is another great feature built into this unit so I can stream movies from Netflix. I would certainly recommend anyone wanting to purchase a Blu-ray disc player to purchase this SAMSUNG BD-D5700 model. Its a winner.

Very easy to connect to your network. Everything worked on the first try. That hasnt been the case with my last Samsung Blu Ray. I have been trying to connect it to the network for 6 months. I would replace all of my players with the D5700. It is a great player!

I own the 6500 with surround sound amplifier built in. I now own the 5700 as well and connect it to my AV receiver and surround sound. Both the 6500 and 5700 have a great user interface, and connect to my wireless internet seamlessly. The integrated wi-fi works great. By-the-way, I have tried other brand proucts, and Samsung is one of the better products for the price. Great product at a great price at Vanns.

Ive had this player for a few weeks now and I am blown away at how much better it is than my previous Sony Blu-ray player in many ways. For starters, it is extremely fast to boot up. My Sony player takes about 30 seconds longer.
This player also has Netflix built right into it even going as far as having a specific Netflix button on the remote control. It also has apps Vudu, Hulu Plus, Amazon Prime, etc., as well as other non-video apps news, sports, Facebook, etc..
The only issue I have with the player is the UI. Compared to the Sony UI, the Samsung one is clunky and just needlessly large. The icons and fonts are huge and the screen is taken up by very little information. The Sony UI is less cluttered and sleeker which is the reason for the 4 under Ease of Use.

This blue-ray player is great! It was very easy to set up and automatically found my wireless network. Within 10 minutes I had a movie playing. The blue-ray discs are fantastic. Even the regular DVD movies look great since they are upconverted.
No complaints so far from this user.

The player connected to my wireless network in seconds. It has performed well both online and when playing discs. I especially like the Smart Hub feature for connecting to Facebook, Netflix, Vudu, etc. The only complaint I have is the clunky remote interface for entering text and numbers online. I bought this Blu-ray Player to replace my old dvdvcr player. I loved the reviews for this player and chose this player because it was number one on CR for best Blu-Ray player. I was looking for easy set up and this one was very easy to set up. I found out that I do not have a current tv because I cant hook it up for best picture or sound. But from how we are using it now it is one great player. It loads fast and is very easy to navigate the remote for use. The picture is good and I cant wait till I can see it the way it should look if I get an updated tv. I really enjoy the Wi-Fi to stream internet for all the extra functions that this allows our family. I would recommend this player to others.

This was my first time purchasing a BD Player. I first bought a Philips, but I was extremely disappointed with the features, so I returned it and picked up this Samsung, and it is amazing! I love the selection of apps available from Samsung. The AllShare feature is also great, because I can stream movies, music and pictures from my computer basically like an AppleTV though not quite so pretty. Super fast loading times, a designated Netflix button on the remote... all-in-all this is an amazing Blu-ray player with, in my opinion, the necessary built-in Wifi that a lot of BD Players lack. Great price, Vanns had super fast shipping.

I actually bought a different player from a different site, only to discover it didnt have built in wireless and Id have to spend $30 - 80 more for a dongle. I sent that one back right away, and bought the Samsung player. It is FABULOUS! More then i ever could have hoped for. I love the apps it has - I may even ditch cable since I certainly dont need it now that I have this awesome built in wireless blu ray player! My only complaint is that when I have to enter in text like my account name and password I have to do it off a numeric based keypad... would love a full size virtual keyboard! Player runs great, no problems what so ever.

Bought this player for a second TV its the closest model to our other Samsung player, which were happy with but which has been discontinued. Biggest plus is the built-in wi-fi, which connected easily & without hassles, as we want to be able to use Netflix. If you don't need 3D--we just aren't interested--this player is a very good value. Cannot fault the DVDBR images. Only negative is a noisy loading mechanism. I'd give a 4.75 for that reason, but had to round up to 5.

It is fast, easy to use and also is internet capable. I am very happy with the unit and feel that Vanns took very good care of me.
I feel special when I order from Vanns, kind of like I am their only customer.

This is about the 9th product I have purchased from you guys and the blu-ray player is great. I purchased it for my father for his birthday and he loves it. Great features with the built-in Wifi. Really enjoy the Smart feature with apps and games, and access to movies. Gotta love the HD quality. And gotta love the convenience of internet purchasing and delivery, best gas saving feature ever.

Sleek modern looking player. Easy to set up wireless connection. Works with Samsung TV remote. No extra programming. WIfi feature is great for Netflix although you will need at least 10Mps to make it watchable.
