Vanns delivered on time without any problems. This is my first Panasonic. I wanted something with a big zoom but not a dslr. This camera fit the bill perfect! Ive just spent the last few weeks getting to know this camera & so far I have had no problems... very user friendly. The pictures are coming out clean and the colors are great. We took the camera to the beach for a week. The beach mode added in the right amount of flash and lightened up the subjects. Be sure to buy an extra battery so you dont miss any pictures.

The New TZ5

The new TZ5 would be a great camera except for one feature that Panasonic decided not to include with this package. That is the omission of the optic view finder. I tried this camera for two weeks and liked everything about it except for the lack of the view finder. Even with the high resolution LCD screen and using the vivid setting it still is just not enough in sunlight. Trying to photograph flying aircraft was frustrating as I missed to many shots. If you can live without the optic view finder then the TZ5 makes a nice unit. I wish Panasonic would have added this feature even if it meant enlarging the camera slightly.
