Not only does the TL220's rear 3.0" color LCD viewscreen offer a wide, detailed view with its 230,000 pixel resolution, but it also delivers touchscreen interactivity! With a simple flick of the finger, you can program camera settings, browse photo albums, and change between landscape and portrait views.
And a little HD
On the rare occasion that you might tire of shooting still shots with the TL220, Samsung has outfitted this digital camera with a high definition movie capture mode. Now you can record up to 20 minutes of your friends' hilarious antics in stunning 1280 x 720p high definition. Then, once you're back at home, you can share your latest footage with friends and family on your HDTV using the TL220's built-in HDMI interface.
Double image stabilization
Whether it's the excitement of the shot or a chill on the air that's causing you to shake, unsteady hands can do a lot to ruin an otherwise ideal shot. Sporting Dual Image Stabilization, the TL220 digital camera from Samsung serves up a one-two punch to tame blurry photos. First off, Optical Image Stabilization compensates for trembling hands by literally shifting the camera's lens in the opposite direction. Second, Digital Image Stabilization's advance processing kicks in when things get really wobbly to ensure blur-free images.
The Perfect Portrait system

Thanks to the Samsung TL220's Perfect Portrait system, you can take fantastic shots of the human face with confidence. Samsung's Perfect Portrait system combines Face Detection, Smile Shot, Blink Detection, and Red-eye Fix technologies to ensure optimal exposure of faces. Face Detection detects up to nine different faces, automatically adjusting focus and brightness for stunning results. Another Perfect Portrait technology, Beauty Shot even retouches imperfections on your subject's face, automatically! Perfect Portrait settings also allow you to take great self portraits.
Nuts 'n' bolts
Chances are you aren't planning on looking at all of your digital photos on the camera's LCD screen. No way! At some point you're going to want to print them off to share with and send to friends and family. This is where your camera's pixel-capture resolution comes into play. Lower resolutions are fine for printing off standard 3"x5" photos, but if you want to reproduce large prints 8"x10" or larger, you're going to need a larger resolution. And, of course, should you ever want to take control of your photographic experience, Smart Auto's parameters can be bypassed for manual operation.

This camera is very compact & easy to use. Love the LCD touch screen. The pictures look good. Love the self timer to take pictures without missing being in the self potraits. Great lcd in front of the camera makes it easier to take pictures of children becuse it shows a clown moving. Makes the kids look straight at the camera.

I cannot believe the picture quality of this camera in such a small size. This camera is the best compact camera that I have owned. The widescreen on the back just gives it that WOW! factor. also the fact that it is touchscreen really enhances the functionality of the unit. It is so easy and user friendly that my 10 year old daughter picked it up and mastered it in about ten minutes. she was recording HD video like a pro in no time, even touching up photos and doing editing right on the camera itself! Just an amazing quality and performance out of such a small unit. the HD video recording is excellent as well! I would highly recommend this product to others.

This camera has met all of our expectations. The front screen is great! We have been very impressed with the photos it has taken. The only thing that we have not found to be great is the software is not as smooth as it could be, but once you learn it, it is pretty easy.

The customer service was great. The camera broke and I had got the Square Trade Warranty, so they needed the receipt before they would fix it. I had lost my receipt so I called in and they sent another one to me right away. The camera takes great pictures in low light. I actually took some pictures at my 6th grade dance and they turned out perfect with the background dark but the subjects bright. The piture review takes a little while for it to change and review pictures and in order to record voices the sound has to be turned on, or else it doesnt record sound. Thats why i rated it a three.
