Intelligent. Automatic. Lumix.
The true test of any digital point-and-shoot camera is fun. Not the fun you have taking photos, however. We're talking about all the fun you're having hanging out with friends, tackling the great outdoors, or journeying on a road trip . . . and not even thinking about your camera's settings. With the 8x optical as well as 4x digital zoom, with a combined total of 72x zoom, your fab shots will be far out. Automatic shooting features keep you in the moment and in the action, allowing you to document everything perfectly without missing a beat. And when it comes to automatic shooting, Panasonic's Lumix DMC-F25 delivers — big time. The technology combines six detection and correction functions to deliver clear, beautiful images, every time. While Auto Focus tracking locks onto and maintains focus on moving subjects, optical image stabilization reduces image blur. Digital red-eye correction and Face Detection combine to produce stunning portraits, and Intelligent ISO control helps optimize exposure under different lighting conditions. Finally, an Intelligent Scene Selector automatically configures camera settings for a variety of common shooting conditions. Sharing photos and video on Facebook and YouTube is just as easy with Image Uploader — and no special software is needed.
In the box:

I owned an older version of this camera, it had been dropped and no longer worked. So I was looking for similar one from Panasonic, this is a newer version. I like this camera as it is very easy to use, fits in my purse. Dependable. I like the extra zoom this one has. Would definitely recommend this camera for anyone wanting an easy to use compact camera.
A nice step up from my previous camera (November 22, 2011)

I had the FH 20 for a few months and really liked it,except for taking pictures at dusk, they were always dark even with the flash. I dropped that camera and had to replace it. I really wanted to stay with Panasonic and did more research and decided to go up a step with the FH 25.It is a great camera and it works at dusk !!! I have this camera in violet and love the color. This is a light weight camera with LOTS of options and settings,Ive only used a few and am very happy. I have a Macbook Pro and the disk that comes with it includes the manual and was easy to put in and read. I was really upset my 1st camera broke BUT in the long run am now glad as I have a better camera.
