The new TL320 goes beyond what you expect from traditional point-and-shoot cameras. This camera offers an impressive list of features, starting with the Schneider lens which provides a 24mm ultra-wide-angle focal length paired with an impressive 5x optical zoom. You get plenty of scene modes to choose from, HD movie recording, manual mode, and dual image stabilization. And Samsung throws an exciting addition into the TL320: a massive 3" screen that uses the same technology as Samsung's amazing AMOLED TVs. In comparison to a traditional TFT-LCD screen, the TL320's AMOLED consumes less power and offers a higher contrast ratio of 10,000:1, producing darker black levels, more vibrant colors, and a brighter display for easy viewing even in direct sunlight. Additionally, the AMOLED screen can display images at any angle while fully maintaining the same color gamut.

HD video recording and voice recording

With your new TL320, you get advanced high-definition video recording at a resolution of 720p. On top of that, HDMI connectivity through the use of a cradle allows you to view video and photos in HD clarity on any HDTV. Since the camera uses H.264 compression (a codec for HD video that yields three times the recording length than the MJPEG video), you get more HD footage for longer periods of time. Use the voice recorder (10 hour maximum recording time) to add a new dimension to capturing memories.

Take control . . .

If you like to customize your shots, or just tinker with settings, the TL320 offers aperture priority, shutter priority, full manual shooting, and Samsung's unique Advanced Picture Mode. Advanced Picture Mode gives you the ability to fine tune color tones before image capture by adjusting the color temperature from 2,800-10,000K in 100K increments, or by manually configuring the camera's color space shift.

The TL320 is much more than a traditional point-and-shoot, but it's still a point-and-shoot. Which means it offers a full suite of automatic controls designed for fast, instant shooting. For instance, Smart Auto mode automatically chooses from one of the TL320's 11 scene modes, depending on which is best for the environment. If you go from taking shots of a mountaintop vista to taking shots of your hiking buddies, the camera automatically transitions from Landscape to Portrait. You get better results without wasting time on settings.

Smart Album and easy organization

If you think Smart Auto is appealing, you'll really like Smart Album. Smart Album lets you search for a particular image on your memory card. Smart Album then automatically organizes your images based on your criteria. Makes for super fast filing and sharing. For instance, you can sort by the date the image was taken, the overall color tone, or specific file types like photos, videos, or voice memos. A Photo Style Selector lets you select from a wide variety of advanced photo effects then preview a suite of images to show the results before you shoot. A Multi-Slide Show Function lets you arrange pictures into a slideshow, add music and active slide effects to bring out the emotion in your photos.

Good lookin' shots

Designed to capture better portraits and group shots of family and friends, the TL320 provides Face Detection, Blink Detection, and Beauty Shot technologies. Face Detection finds up to nine faces and automatically adjusts focus and exposure to ensure better composition and image quality. Smile Shot automatically triggers the TL320 to take a photo only when the camera detects that a subject's eyes are closed. The Beauty Shot feature automatically identifies imperfections such as blemishes and dark spots on the face, and retouches them so that faces appear brighter and smooth. Different level settings control the amount of retouching that takes place. Another cool feature is Self Portrait, which lets you know you're in the picture with a beep.

Dual Image Stabilization

Integrating the best lens shifting mechanisms of Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) with the algorithms of Digital Image Stabilization (DIS) Dual Image Stabilization eliminates the blur caused by camera shake and delivers clear, crisp images every time, even under difficult lighting situations.

Quality design

The TL320 features a brushed stainless steel finish for a compact, durable product. You also get a compact form factor highlighted by two analog dials found on top of the TL320's body. The dials give the TL320 a retro look and provide you a quick readout of remaining battery life and memory capacity.
