I purchased a new 3D tv, so I purchased this just to watch more 3D content, but mainly to just play around with it. If you are interested in purchasing this, you know what the gopro cameras can do. I understand that gopro bought out a Hollywood company that does 3D stuff. The editing program is by this company, and isnt that hard to use. Any computer software will need some time to familiarize your self with the features, your dedication will pay off.
I've purchased most of the gopro accessories, so I had to buy this too. I personally wouldn't have purchased this if I didn't have a 3D tv. If you do not have a 3D tv, you can still watch 3D videos and view 3D pictures with the supplied redblue glasses. You can edit videopics to be viewed with the redblue glasses, active, or passive 3D. I have not tried printing and viewing a 3D picture, so no comment on that.
Underwater videos are still blurry, without a flat lens. Google that topic if you do not know about it.
This may have the best quality of 3D recording vs price.
