I bought this camera and started to shoot video right away. This is a light weight excellent little camera for the price. This is my first camera and when i was thinking about purchasing i was also comparing it to a HD camcorder but then realized you need a HD blue-ray burner to burn in HD format. This shoots excellent video and I couldnt be happier. go ahead buy this camera!
