This camcorder is lightweight, quick and easy to use. Everyone who sees it remarks how good the picture is. I wish the zoom feature was more powerful and that it included the necessary cables to connect to my TV for playback. I would recommend this product to family and friends.

Those were the words of my 15 yo after she shot her first movie for a school project. We purchased this for her for Christmas. It was literally a take-out-of -the -box and start using gift. She was filming within minutes of opening it! No big primer to read. She loves the portability of the camcorder and the plug and play features. The Vanns price was better than several competitors-even after adding the extra warranty, which I would recommend with teens since life happens. The website was easy to navigate. Vanns will definitely be my go to site for electronics in the future!

So far so good. Very easy to use. I am happy with the quality and size of the HD version. Fits easily in my hand bag or ski coat. I dont use the flip software. I download directly to my mac. I am having some trouble uploading movie files to my web site. I wish i could zoom in closer but i guess you cant have everything. I will say i did try the flip software before i took it off. It was too limiting in terms of edit ability- especially when you know how much you can do on a mac with ease.
