Additionally, Super SteadyShot® optical image stabilization and Face Detection technology help every image look its best.

i have owned the camera for a few months now, and i love it! the picture quality is comparable to that of a professional video camera. the multiple video formats HDSD make it great for capturing the moments i want, exactly as i see them. the still imagas are great as well. i would recomend this camera to anyone who wants to make the leap to HD. the only con is the short battery life, but that is easily fixable with and extra battery.
