Its a great product and value. Its used with a new Sony TV and Sony DVDVCR recorder player. The sound is much like being at a theater - even when viewing old movies recorded on tape or DVDs. I have used many amplifier-speaker combos in the past costing probably $1000 more than this system. The HTRS600 sounds as good or better. I have a second Yamaha system which cost 4 times as much and does not sound as good! The HTSR600 is installed in a carpeted room with upholstered furniture. The room is about 22 X 12 with one wall mostly glass. Anyone wishing quality sound at an absolute bargain price would appreciate this product. Compared to Sony, Yamaha, and others, it is easy to set up and operate. Good manual and instructions. I am a retired electronics engineer and have many years experience with electronic products.

This is one of the best deals you can find. Free shipping and the lowest price. I did some shopping around for this system. Cant beat the price for an Onkyo. The sound is good. The stereo uses Discrete aplificationH-current. You have to play around with setting up the speakers to get the sound right along with the bass. After I got it all hook up and changed the settings, I was happy I made this purchase. Also, use the Optical adapter with DVD, makes the sound even better. |

The Onkyo HT-SR600 provides great sound for a large bedroom, medium living room, or similarly sized environment. The flexibility of input options provide easy attachment to all electronics and peripherals. Setup is a breeze with color-coded wiring and excellent instructions. I also bought the ipod accessory which makes music come to life for everyone to enjoy. The sound is fantastic! It fills the room with layers of sound from music to movies. The subwoofer will not shake the pictures off your walls, but it does provide good punch and depth. Overall, it is well worth the money and will provide wonderful listening pleasure for all your music and video needs. |
