I purchased this system about 3 weeks ago. So far it is working very nicely and I like it. I did not put the speakers on the poles but mounted them on the walls in the room. The actual surround speaker cases itself are about 21 long without the stand. Only the top 10 or so have any actual speaker in them the rest is empty. The woofer works fine and when the surround kicks in the whole system sounds good. I would recommend this system but remember it has no DVDCD player with it. It is Blue ray capible if you purchase the blue ray player seperate which I plan on doing soon. Vanns is very easy to deal with and I will buy through them again. They give you no hassle on returns but read the quidelines on returns before you buy from them.

This is a great system for the price. I mounted the speakers on the stands and they look and sound great. The only thing that I do not like about this unit is that you have to use the speaker wire that comes with the unit, and cant upgrade to a larger size wire. Overall I would rate this system 4 12 stars.
