I have owned a Bose Soundock for about 3 months now. Overall, it sounds pretty good. I just cant agree that it doesnt have any bass. There is plenty of low-end considering its size even though not the kind of bass that will vibrate books off the shelf. After all, musical bass isnt supposed to be a volcano explosion.

To me, Bose is truly a leader in the manufacture of innovative audio products. It was the first to introduce the idea of a tabletop wave radio with big sound. Others saw it and followed. Then the elegant Soundock for ipods and yet again the others saw it and followed. Isnt it interesting!?!

Highly recommended!

Underwhelming! I received Sound Dock as a Birthday Present. Initially, I was very excited about being able to listen to my collection on a portable quality sounding device. Unfortunately, I was a little underwhelmed when I finally set it up and started listending to my music. Although high frequencies are reproduced with crisp, clear sound, lows are virtually nonexistant. NO BASS BABY! It sounds like a transistor radio on steroids the sound is lacking mellow undertones and richness normally associated with BOSE. For $3oo I was expecting much more, especially considering my $150 Emerson ' Boom BOX' sounds MUCH BETTER!!!!
