The Panasonic SC-HC3 is compact and sleek with a very small footprint..
The sound is striking - clear , clean, mid and higher frequency with bass that is tight and rich.

I gave the gift to a non-techie who had no problem setting up the stereo and using the remote. Expecially welcome are nice touch buttons along the top for most functions without using the remote.

I did a bit of research before I bought the SC-HC3 - easlly the best of the rest.

This stereo is slim in profile and performs all of the functions a modern shelf stereo system should. It has an ipod dock, cd, and fmam radio. The front acts as a sliding door to allow access to the dock and cd player. The sound is very good, the speakers hit all of the ranges well and sound fills up my kitchen, dining, and living rooms.

The only design flaw is that it is sometimes difficult to lift a full-sized ipod out of its dock because it is in a small space.

The Panasonic Stereo SC- HC3 is a good device for people who are looking for more than just a docking station for an ipod. The ipod docking feature is compatible with all previous and present models of the ipod ipod touch. The CD compartment is good for listening to personal music . The AM FM allows the user to select any local broadcasting station to listen to. This SC- HC3 also has a clock feature which allows the individual to set the time. The improve sound quality allow the user to fine the the volume while listening to radio. Compare to some other products this is a good products because it combines the 3 most populars ways people to music which include radio, personal CDs, and ipod or mp3 player. Other products are one dimensional, which only provide a docking station just to play music through a mp3 player. Those who are into portable audio devices which allows them to listen to music in than more one way would benefit from this product. I chose to this product because by using the remote control allows to comfort to switch between radio and mp3 player, and personal enough to add a CD whenever feel like it, also its size. This product is portable enough to allow me to travel with it.
