I have been waiting for a larger capacity iPod in order to get my first. I had a 30 gig and a 60 gig which I had borrowed and was impressed with the features but I knew that my vast collection would not fit on these ipods. When the classic models came out, I knew my time had come. I waited for a decent deal and found it here at Vanns. It was shipped quickly and I received it and continue to enjoy the sound quality and vast storage capacity. I was so impressed with it and with Vanns that I ordered another ipod classic for my wife as a surprise present. Besides, I cant give up mine, never mind share it. Vanns provided me with the wherewithall to satisfy my and my wifes portable audio needs.

Good product but with some problems It is the sound quality. I havent heard previous iPods to compare it to, but my previous players Sansa was better than this. The presets just dont quite cut it on the iPod 160. Apple needs to fix this by working a customized equalizer! As it is, the quality just isnt very good. Video quality is very good - many of my movies Ive viewed look just fine. Cover is a pretty cool feature, but it does take a few seconds for it to show scraches. Everything is minor but fix the sound qulity. Make it mighty iPod again!

This is the 4th Apple iPod I have purchased for my photography business. I just needed a larger capacity iPod. I have found that an iPod is a wonderful and much more economical and practical way to show off and sell my photos without carrying thick, heavy binders full of printed photos around with me. The iPod has revolutionized my business! It is easy to use and update, light weight, and it is virtually foolproof, and it fits into my pocket or briefcase. And, yes, I have put some music on it just to have some entertainment on those lonely business trips. Those binders didnt play any music! Overall, this 160GB iPod is the most compact only because it has a larger capacity. I would surely recommend this iPod to any artist or photographer who needs to show off hundreds or thousands of pictures.
