Multi-Touch
Built to take full advantage of the large 3.5" display, the Multi-Touch touchscreen interface lets you control everything using only your fingers. It analyzes keystrokes to suggest words as you type and correct spelling errors automatically. And because it's software based, it changes its keys to support typing in multiple languages.
Accelerometer
iPod touch detects when you rotate it from portrait to landscape, then automatically changes the contents of the display. So you immediately see the entire width of a web page, view a photo in its proper aspect ratio, or control a game using only your movements. Accelerometer technology really shines when you play games because it immerses you in the action. It's perfect for racing games, where your entire iPod touch acts as a steering wheel, and for tap-and-tilt games such as Super Monkey Ball, in which your character responds to your every movement.
Surf's up
iPod touch locates nearby wireless hotspots, including protected networks. If you've never used a particular network, it asks you to enter a password the first time, and it remembers the password from then on. So the next time you're within range, it connects automatically. Now you can send email from a coffee shop. Surf the web at the airport. Shop for games from your couch. Browse, buy, and download music from the iTunes Wi-Fi Music Store at select Starbucks locations or other hotspots in your area.
Music with Genius
Remember what it felt like to flip through your CD or record collection? Cover Flow brings that feeling back. Just turn iPod touch on its side and flick through your music to find the album you want to hear. Tap the cover to flip it over and display a track list. Tap again to start the music. Even view lyrics while you're listening. iPod touch is also a musical Genius. Say you're listening to a song you really like and want to hear other tracks that go great with it. The new Genius feature finds songs in your library that go great together and makes a Genius playlist for you. You can listen to the playlist right away, save it for later, or even refresh it and give it another go. Count on Genius to create a mix you wouldn't have thought of yourself. Fill up your iPod touch with audio and video from your iTunes library. All you have to do is choose the playlists, videos, and other content you want to sync and let iTunes do the rest.
Movies + TV shows
Carry hours of video with you and watch it on a crisp, clear 3.5" color widescreen display. Need ideas? From Hollywood blockbusters to independent favorites, there's something for everyone at the iTunes store. Download and watch movies with a few clicks. Prefer TV shows? Buy a single episode or an entire season's worth all at once. While watching your video, tap the display to bring up the onscreen controls. You can play/pause, view by chapter, and adjust the volume. You can also use the new volume controls on the left side of iPod touch. Want to switch between widescreen and full screen? Simply tap the display twice. Need some entertainment for your next flight or road trip? With iTunes on your Mac or PC, you can sit at your computer and choose the movies and TV shows you want to sync to your iPod touch.
Home screen
You can arrange the icons on your Home screen any way you want. Even move them to another Home screen. Create up to nine Home screens for quick access to the games and applications you download from the App Store and to your Safari Web Clips. No matter where you are on iPod touch, you can press the Home button to return to the Home screen. You can go back to what you were doing at any time. Whenever you download an application from the App Store, a new icon appears on your Home screen. And if you check the same websites every day, just create Web Clips and you can access the sites directly from your Home screen with a single tap. Not happy with how they're organized? Reorder them any way you want by dragging them around the screen.
Photos
Show thousands of photos from the palm of your hand. Flick to scroll through thumbnails. Tap to view full screen. Rotate to see a photo in landscape. Pinch to zoom in or out. Play slideshows, complete with music and transitions. Email a photo to a friend, set it as your wallpaper, or share it in a MobileMe Gallery. If you receive a great image in an email, save it to your photo library on iPod touch. Once there, it acts just like any other photo. You can set it as your wallpaper, share it on the web, or pass it on. iPod touch uses iTunes to sync photos you have in iPhoto on a Mac or Adobe Photoshop Elements and Adobe Photoshop Album on a PC. Just choose which photos or albums to sync to your iPod touch, then you can look at them and share them anywhere you go.
Tune your run
iPod touch now includes built-in Nike + iPod support. Just slip the Nike + iPod Sensor (sold separately) into your Nike + shoe and start your run. The sensor communicates wirelessly with your iPod touch, tracking your time, distance, and calories burned. It even gives you voice feedback on your progress. This feature also works with new cardio equipment available in many fitness centers. Just look for Nike + iPod compatible treadmills, elliptical machines, stair steppers, and stationary bikes. When you get back to your computer, sync your iPod touch via iTunes and transfer your exercise data to nikeplus.com, where you can track your workouts, set goals, and challenge friends.

The iPod touch is a one of a kind device. No other device works all the time, but stills has every feature needed. The home screen of the iPod touch is as simple as it gets, simply swipe through to find your apps. There is no easier way to navigate, sometimes I wish my computer worked like that. There is tons o storage for all the apps,ebooks,videos, and music you can dream of. With over 30 apps on my device I havent even scrathed the surface of available space. This device is most definitely the worlds best mini computer and media player. If you Have the money you dont want to miss out!

What a great little device! Im retired and thought Id never need such a device. I figured this was an electronic toy for young folks. How wrong I was! Every day I discover a new function on my iPod. Now Ive downloaded family pictures, podcasts, music, and even books. I had debated about purchasing a Kindle. But now that the Kindle application is free, I have that capability, as well. And reading books on the iPod is enjoyable. The text is large enough to see, and books are easy to navigate. I primarily purchased the iPod because of its Internet and e-mail functions. I wanted to stay in touch with the family while in Europe this summer. I do love that capability, as well, and look forward to using the device while on our extensive summer trip.
It did take me a while to figure out how to use all the functions, but navigating the web allowed me to access the information I needed.

i think i pod touch 32gb is a great product you can watch movies on it and tv shows play games and browse photo and go on the internet and it a good portable pocket computer and i think vanns is a good company to buy it from great customer service. i think the ipod touch is better from the other one i have because it a touch device and it has more build in device it has a buildin mic and voice controls like a upgrade from the other ipod devices.

I purchased this as an upgrade from my second generation ipod. Right out of the box this thing impressed me, from the built quality to the wonderful picture! Right away I loaded all my songs and movies onto this and began surfing the web! It is great for when you are on the go and traveling like myself, It keeps me organized and occupied. With 32gb of storage on this model youll have more than enough space to hold music games and much more. the touch display on the iPod touch beats all the other iPods when it comes to navigation and viewing things like movies. The iPod touch is great it can entertain all ages, plus it can be a very useful tool when it comes to business and just looking up things that you may be curious about. getting apps is so fast and simple and theirs an app just for about anything. Bought as a gift for my daughter her Touch was a little touchy. In the beginning it refused to play many items from her I Tunes library. A local Apple technician checked it out and told her the I Pod was fine . . . it was just a glitch. She had registered her player and got an email update. Much to her relief after that update the player started to play all the songs in her library. Disappointment repaired, she is now a completely happy I Pod Touch user and now her sister insists on one.

Bought this IPod to mainly use when i hit the gym, but have been using it more often than my last IPod. Touchscreen is cool and makes it much easer to use. I really enjoy the voice feature as it keeps my hand free. will highly recommend spending a little more to get the better deal.

My wife and I finally decided to join the I-pod generation and purchased the 32G version. This little thing goes w us everywhere! We bought an adapter cord that lets us play videos on our SUVs TVDVD player which is awesome if you have kiddos. We also have games, internet, pictures, our favorite songs all at our fingertips whenever we feel the need to show off our family or whatever! Go get one!

I have found the i-pod to be a fun device that was very easy to learn to use. This is my first i-pod. Downloading apps is quick and convenient to do right from the i-pod itself. Being able to check e-mail and Facebook without using my computer has been very useful and sometimes faster. I am totally happy that I made the investment and Vanns sold it at a competitive price. And being able to make payments without interest helps.
