Your favorite iPod playlists, at home
Nothing could be better for enjoying all your favorite tunes when you're out and about during your day than your iPod. All you have to do is pop the iPod in your pocket, the earbuds in your ears, and you're off. But back at home for the evening, it would be nice to finish that last killer playlist without having to use any headphones . . . and to share it with whoever else is home. Enter the PDX-30 player dock from Yamaha. Designed to work with multiple iPod models, including the iPhone and iPod touch, the PDX-30 uses built-in Yamaha digital amplification and two 3.25" full-range drivers to serve up your favorite iPod music. Compact and lightweight, the PDX-30 is great for any room in the house or at the office. An included remote adds simplicity to the PDX-30's operation. And, the PDX-30 will even charge your iPod while your listening!

This is an excellent audio device with wonderful sonic qualities. This product is easy to use and adaptable to both my ipods - one of which is an older ipod I bought several years ago. The sound quality is as good as you would obtain from a much larger unit - it reallly fills the room. The footprint of this ipodiphone dock is very compact but you dont get the tinny sound produced by many of the less well constructed and less well-engineered players of this type. Really cool remote that really works well. Buy this one. Its a keeper!! Bravo for Yamaha.

I recently purchased an Apple ITouch to store and organize my CDs and play music at home and in my car. Two computer savvy friends said that, after testing every playerdock on the market, they finally decided to purchase the Yamaha PDX30BL, both for its price, which is half that of some extensively advertised others, and its well-balanced sound that literally fills the room. Compact and unobtrusive, I move it and my music from my office to the kitchen while cooking, then to the dining room to provide the perfect ambiance at the end of a long day. The Yamaha Portable Audio is a great value for the price.
