Got this audio player for my mothers kitchen, so the under cabinet design is exactly what I needed. Very impressive sound quality. 3-CD changer is an added plus. Cannot comment on the radio or remote quality as I have not used these. Nor can I comment on the durability as I have had it for only 2 weeks. But I believe that Sony is a dependable brand.
If this player works well for the next 6 months, I plan on buying it for my wife too.

I purchased this product to replace a gpx and what an improvement. Ive only had the product for a couple of weeks so I cant comment on durability but the sound is a major improvement. I love the fact that it is a 3 cd player instead of one. When baking or cooking and you have to stop and wipe your hands to change the cd was really frustrating. Easy to program and love the ipod connection. Would recommend this product to anyone who spends time in the kitchen. Magnetic remote also a bonus.

My husband and I each owned a Sony under-counter radio-cd player in the past. He was given a cheap knock-off as a replacement for his, and there is no comparison. The quality of the knock-off was poor from the start. It wouldnt hold a radio station for even a few hours. The Sony is unbeatable. I insisted on the digital tuning, and the cd changer is a bonus. I use this every day and absolutely love it.

This is the second Sony 3-CD Radio I have purchased. The first one was damaged when our house was hit by lightening, disabling the CD section. However, the radio worked fine. I purchased the exact same model because I was so pleased with its performance and wanted the CD player again. The sound from its 2 bottom speakers is great. It was easy to install, especially the 2nd time! The remote has a magnet on the back so you can stick it to your refrigerator, which is very convenient. The CD drawer has 3 sliding trays which makes loading a breeze. The clock is easy to set and it comes with a caddy and wire to plug an MP3 player in, although I have not yet tried that feature.
I am throughly enjoying this machine and would definitely recommend it to any one considering a purchase.

I thought I found the perfect product at a reasonable price for an under-the-counter radio. The CD player was fine, but the radio sounded tinny trying to pull in the closest public radio station 26 miles away. It was no comparison to the ancient one we found when we moved in to our new house which we replaced because it had no volume adjustment. In addition, once a station was preset, I could find no way to unset it despite ltrying to follow the manual instructions. I was sorry to return this.

I recently purchased another brand of under the cabinet radio for about half the price from another vendor and returned it because it was such poor quality.
This radio is beautiful!! Installation was simple and sound quality is excellent. It picks up distant stations well the other one didnt and the 3-cd feature is nice.
I liked it so well in the kitchen that I have just placed an order for another one for my shop.

Im excited about our new Sony CD-radio player recorder. Its very attractive. Im very pleased with Vanns process, delivery and helpfulness. A friend has promised to install it for me, so I havent played it yet. It has a year warranty which Im very happy about. Seems to be a good choice so far, nice tone and easy to use. I do wish that there was a battery operated clock and preset as our electricity fluctuates frequently. Every time that happens we have to reset the stations and the clock.

I just LOVE this under-cabinet mount radioCD and iPOD player. I actually bought this just for CDs but was very happy to see that it has a port to play my iPOD as well. Installation was easy for me so whoever said it was a pain maybe has a harder wood cabinet than I do. The template was great and it is basically just drilling four holes and there you are! I would certainly recommend this to anyone if this is what you are looking for. It was great to get rid of my old clunker of a boombox that I was using for CDs since I listen to a lot of books on CDs. Now the boombox is off my kitchen countertop! Would definitely recommend this item.

Purchased this as a Christmas gift for my wife so she could reduce the clutter our cd player created on the kitchen counter.
Sound is very good, multi disc is a real plus, auto scan tuner worked flawlessly, MP3 option is great, timer is a nice feature. Overall this is a great unit. Price was a little more than i wanted to spend but well worth it.

This Sony under-the-counter radiocd player is everything I expected it to be. Easy to install, learning the features, the 3-CD changer, the input cable for the mp3 or iPOD and, of course enjoying the tunes.....just awesome. The radio it self is very good quality. reception is a little to desire. Make sure that the radio is where you want it before you make your holes. The reception seemed to be better in different areas and make sure the cord is fully extended. for some reason that aided with the radio reception. The cd player is a little slow but compared to the other under the counter cdradio players it is still seems to be of the better ones.

This is one of the best purchases ive every made.
It was a crisp clear sound and very attractive appearance. I have have a Bose and Samsung music systems in my home and the sound quailty is very comparable to them both. I bought the system to for the AMFM radio. The CD player is a bonus and the system is very user friendly.
I will be purchasing one for the mother.

Unit was very easy to install and sound performance for its size is excellent. Once I extended the power cord FM antenna it picked up all my favorite FM stations and some I did not know existed. The only shortcomingI can report is the AM radio reception is only average. Who listens to AM anymore anyway? My wife also loves her favorite CDs while in the kitchen.

My girlfriend was so anxious to use this radio that she played some CD before we installed it. We were both impress with with the sound quality and features of this unit. Then to save space she turned it from flat to vertical and the CDs jammed inside. I disassembled the unit removed the CDs and it plays great now that its installed properly

I am VERY pleased with my new Sony ICF-CDK70 under-counter radiocdplayer. Installation was made easy by the included template and stand-off supports. And, although I was concerned about the quality of the reception I would get at my rural home, the stations come in great with NO STATIC! The 3 cd capacity is real handy. Programming the time and preselected stations was a breeze, and the sound quality is impressive. Im sure glad I chose this model!
