I have looked at a lot of docking stations for my I pod. I considered everything from the B&W zeppelin to the George. I have loved mirage speakers since I was in high school and was surprised one that they offered a dock and two that it is so inexpensive. The sound is equal to there bigger speakers well rounded and engrossing.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the OMNIVIBE. I was skeptical given the great price. I purchased it as a replacement for a far more expensive unit and it delivers similar sound. Its lightweight so it is certainly easy to move from room to room. Given the price, I decided to purchase a second one for another part of the house. Let someone else pay $400.00 for the other popular dock on the market.

I purchased two of these little beasts. Let me just say that when I heard how the Omnivibe sounded, I decided to order another immediately. I bought them each through Vanns.com They sound really loud and they dont distort at high volume levels. I was lucky to purchase them on sale. Unfortunately the sale ended and they are back at their clearance price. I highly recommend these units. I love how the Mirage speakers sound. I also own the Omnisat V2 Floor Standing and Center channel speakers along with the Nanosats. The omnipolar technology really works well and suits my needs.

Got my OmniVibe yesterday and I must say this unit have amazing sound. It is the perfect unit for my office. I actually purchased another to have out in my shop at home. The only thing I have found when using it with my Ipod Touch is that when I use the remote to skip to the next song it doesnt imediately go to the next song. It fast forwards through the current song skipping ahead for a few seconds before it goes to the next song. With that said, I can live with this minor flaw since this is such a great sounding unit at an amazing price. Also my experience with Vanns was perfect. Great company.

The consensus from other reviews is spot on. When I first unpacked the Omnivibe, its light weight caused me to lower my expectations. I have a quality home audio system, and typically quality in the audio arena means weight. Not so with the Omnivibe.
This purchase is for my office at work, and frankly, it can play louder than I would ever be able to get away with, while sounding fantastic all the time. It wont replace a true soundsystem, but I can think of many applications for it, and the speakers exude a warmth and width of soundstage far exceeding the size. Absolute 5 star, top-notch, and worth far more than the price Vanns charged me.

I originally purchased this unit because I knew the name Mirage for their audiophile floor-standing speakers costing $1000s each.
I was planning on something that would basically recharge my iPod classic each evening, and allow me to listen to some tunes while surfing the web.
To my surprise, this unit has virtually replaced my Yamaha-Technics-Polk Audio home system.
Unbelievable sound from a unit this small.
Tremendous bass response - and if desired this thing will have the neighbors knocking on your door telling you to turn it down. I will get LOUD with virtually no distortion.
And the Omni technology really does work.
I place my unit a few inches from the wall, and feel like I have headphones on.
Maybe not 360 degrees, but a wide, WIDE soundstage.
VERY impressive. And HIGHLY recommended.
I bought 2, and recommended a 3rd to a friend!

I just received my Omnivibe to use with my iphone, and I couldnt be more pleased. It has a great deep bass sound. My wife couldnt believe it only cost $60. I just ordered one for her to use in her office. The only complaint would be the inability to control the bass and treble, otherwise a really nice sounding system.

What a great product and what a great deal! Why buy just a charger for your iPod when you can get the Omnivibe for just a bit more? It charges your iPod, plays your music, connects to your PC for iTunes, can display photos or videos on your monitorTV, and even comes with a remote! The Omnivibe has very good sound with nice bass and even looks terrific in your home. I am so glad I did not get another unit. The low price nearly scared me away. My first Vanns purchase and I am totally pleased and I am a hard to please consumer. Great communications with Vanns, quick shipping, the ability to track the shipment all the way to my door, and they even double boxed the Omnivibe!

I received my Mirage Omnivibe yesterday from Vanns.com.
Bottom Line Up Front It is a great sounding, attractive looking, and simple to use room-filling IPOD Speaker.
Great Sounding I placed it on my dining room table and cranked it up to listen to it from all angles. It sounds great, and would be perfect for entertaining or having a party. The bass is full and the sound is not tinny or piercing, it sound good. The IPOD equalizers make some nice changes and bass boost doesnt cause it to distort.
Attractive looking The black elongated football shape is low profile and IKEA Modern looking and will go many decors.
Simple to use - the box only has a power button and volume up and down. The remote works well to change volume and tracks. There is no power brick, just a cord.
Overall, if you need an IPOD speaker system for your house or apartment this is the best deal you can get for a solid product that will sound the best when you have guests over and want to rock the house with good background music that sounds good from any angle.

Where do I start? I just received my new Mirage speakers for my i-Pod today, four days before the expected delivery date. This is the best purchase Ive made in a long time. The sound quality is outstanding, at the risk of repeating other reviews, it sounds better than Bose. I bought this for my desk at the office and its almost too good. Crisp highs, great mids, and deep bass if you are looking for a plug and play solution for your i-Pod look no further, you cannot beat the quality of the Mirage OmniVibe without spending ten times more money I only wish I could rate the value higher than 5!! This was my first purchase from Vanns, but not my last. Thank you to everyone at Vanns.

The Mirage Omnivibe is a killer deal.
Cosmetically, it looks great, and the omnipolar technology they use results in great sound dispersion. The small remote works well from significant distances, and the volume control is perfect.

This is an incredible find. The sound quality is incredible. I purchased two of these units after a friend invited me to listed to theirs. I was hooked. I bought one for myself and one for my Mother for her bithday, which isnt until June. I own an iPod shuffle and my Mom owns a Nano. This unit will work with all iPods and any MP3 player with a place for an output jack. The cable is included for such purpose. A remote control is also standard with this unit. It is configured like an iPod dial. The footprint allows for placement anywhere. It is also USB compatible.

This is an awesome accessory for your ipod or mp3 player. The sound is way better than expected. This thing can get pretty loud, and It does a great job of filling the room with rich detailed sound. Even the bass response is better than expected, Its warm with tone that is full and well balanced. It uses the same omnipolar technology as their home theatre products. Most speakers produce the best sound if youre sitting directly infront of them, but the mirage projects sound all over. You can enjoy the sound either standing around the room or sitting in front of it. Im using this with an ipod classic and we all know that ipods arent the greatest mp3 players when it comes to sound quality, but it actually sounds good. You can dial in different sounds using the EQ on your player. It also transfers video from your ipod and you can use different brands of mp3 players with the included adapter that plugs in the back.

Just got my mirage omnivibe from Vanns at a great price. In fact cheaper then anywhere else. The fact is so far its sounds great. Where I work everyone has the bose. Nothing against bose but the mirage sounds better and at a much more reasonable price at Vanns. I bought my mirage center as well as the mirage sats from Vanns along with two mirage speaker stands. So do yourself a favor and give the omnivibe a chance. I think you will be surprised.
