First off, Vanns rocks. Ordered late on a Thursday, got it on Tuesday...still no charge, and no sales tax! Service was very helpful, efficient and didnt promise something they couldnt deliver. On to the product review, this is a slick piece of technology, that does everything it says it will, and does it well.
PROS
Excellent navigation
Clean power and sound
2 HDMI INPUTS Sony DVD and Comcast HD DVR FULL HD video switching 1080p
1 HDMI OUT Sony SXRD
Plenty of AV connections optical, dig coax,componet,S-Video, etc...
Size!!!!!! less than 5 inches tall, still plenty of power for my setup
Wireless rear surround ready works pretty good too
Looks cool
Auto speaker set up
Customization
CONS
Owners manual could have been laid out better
Remote not the best
Speaker connections
Tight jack panel
This is a very capable AV receiver. AND it is the ONLY receiver I know of that will do support the combination of features, AB switching, wireless rear speakers and fit in a space less than 5 inches high...only Panasonic has AV receivers that do all of those things. This may not be a perfect receiver, but it runs my Sony 50 SXRD, Sony Upconverting DVD Player, my Comcast HDDVR, and my Polk 5.1 surround speakers polk Atrium outdoor speakers on the B side with plenty of clean, rich power...at least to my ears. Highly recomended!
