Its great. I needed a replacement for my Yamaha tuner that I purchased over 20 years ago, so I looked for a tuner that would fit with my other components. the TX-497 is the same size a little thicker but not much and fit perfectly. i was getting a little interference with my old one, but the new TX-497 eliminated that. By the way, the interference wasnt why i wanted to replace my old one. It started cutting off at times and just wouldnt work. Great unit. I would recommend it to anyone who still uses component stereo systems.
