Klipsch SS-1 an Excellent Addition to Any Home Theatre

To me, each speaker has its own destinct sound ranging from shrill, to brassy, to flat aka dead and ultimately alive. I definately rate the Klipsch SS-1s as very much alive. The Klipschs Tratix horns deliver an astonishing crystal clear sound that covers an amazingly broad range without turning shrill or peak out and go flat. Accompanied by the 5-14 inch shielded woofer the speaker delivers a very broad, well balanced sound wituout over driving the horns and going flat with mid-range. The Wide Dispersion Surround Technology WDST that is featured in the SS-1s isnt just a marketing tactic either. the multi-angled horns really fill out my medium-sized living room with a full bodied sound. So much so that even though my receiver is Dolby 7.1 compatible, Im convinced that I wont need those extra channels.

I can relate to anyone thats ever bought speakers and brought them home only to find that they didnt live up to personal expectations. Installing the SS-1s and tuning them into my existing system made me realize immediately that these speakers exceeded my expectations. Replacing my average rear bookshelf speakers with the Klipsch SS-1s was an excellent investment. One of those kind of investments that when youre sitting there watching your favorite movie and the sound from these speakers catches you off-guard it just makes you smile.

I purchased klipsch ss-1 rear channel speakers to complete my klipsch 6.1 surround sound set.These speakers live up to there name they are awesome!I cant believe how loud and clear they are at any volume before the neighbor calls to complain.I purchased these speakers from vanns and was very happy with the price and ease of the order, They notified me on completion of order and tracking numbers for my order and arrived at estimated date.
