Having finally bitten the bullet and spent a few hundred hard earned pounds, GBO480, on the system, I consider the same to have extremely well spent!
The speakers look great, they sound superb and the quality of the distortion-free base is amazing. Whether one listens to Classical, Easy Listening, Instrumental, or Pop, the enhanced quality delivered from Bose's fine product has to be experienced to be believed and as one who cannot afford the latest 'Linn' system, priced at a whopping GBP94,800!, my Bose speakers are awesome! |

I bought the Acoustimas 5 system to replace my older speakers, which were done in by fungal rot on the foam surrounds.
The sound from the Bose speakers is so far superior that I feel like an idiot for not buying BOSE in the first place, 25 years ago.
I won't make that mistake again.
