Add Some Bass To Your Place
Reference Series powered subwoofers shatter your expectations for deep, driving bass by playing louder and going deeper than significantly larger designs, creating the most dramatic, intense bass you've ever heard or felt. Designed from the ground up for class-leading, room-filling low-frequency performance, the RSW10 is sonically, cosmetically and technologically matched to the Reference Series. Low-level inputs that also operate as an LFE input (for compatibility with 5.1 digital sound formats) and an adjustable low-pass crossover allow you to configure the subwoofer to your room's acoustics. The easy-to-reach, side-mounted volume control makes for simple setup and convenient level adjustments between music and movie source.
Utility Player
Compact and powerful, the RSW10 powered subwoofer extends and intensifies the bass output of any music or home theater system. Its built-in electronic crossover provides all the flexibility necessary to achieve a seamless blend with the main speakers, whether small satellites that depend on the subwoofer to shouldedr the entire low-frequency load or full-range models that need only bottom-end reinforcement.
Big Bass from A Small Space
The RSW10 has a rear-firing active driver with a rigid, low resonance cast aluminum frame and a front-mounted passive radiator, both the 10-inch Cerametallic cones. The active driver's large magnet structure and high-temperature voice coil enable it to deliver rich, clean, pulse-pounding bass to below 30 Hz. It is powered by a high-efficiency BASH digital hybrid amplifier, capable of 1150 watts dynamic output. The passive radiator enables the RSW10 to generate very deep bass from a relatively small enclosure.
Gets Along Well With Your System
The RSW10's low-pass crossover has an exceptionally steep 36dB/octave slope, a continuously variable frequency control, and a phase switch, facilitating smooth speaker/subwoofer integration. A bypass switch allows direct connection to the subwoofer amplifier for use with the crossover built into an A/V preamp or receiver. Input is line-level via a stereo pair of RCA jacks; another pair of RCA jacks provides unfiltered output for connection to a second subwoofer or other component. An "auto power" feature enables the subwoofer to turn on and off automatically.
