These are great surround sound to go with Energy V6.3, and V5.2 . I love them.
I really like the option that I can switch bt bipole and dipole. I use RX-A810 to power them they sound really good. Now i can hear the sound that I have never heard before when I was using Klipsch Quinted IV. Sweet spot all around my living room instead of just main listening area. Get them before theyre gone!!!! I would pay full price 520each for them, but I didnt have to. I got them at $200each, Sweetttttttttttt!!!!!!!!

I purchased these to replace the Sony surround speakers I had and what a difference they make. They definitely give more detail and dimension to the sound stange being produced by the yamaha receiver I am using. I enjoy the sound of the music and movies they produce. They are not bad to look at either. Although I havent heard the difference yet, the dipolebipole switch on them really compliments the bang for the buck you get with Energy Speakers. Everything about them screams high end, the size of the speakers, the glossy finish, 5 way binding posts, bipoledipole switch, have good sound quality and the materials that are used in constructing them are high quality. Anyone wanting to listen to details of musicmovies and hear a good sound stange will be happy with these.
I purchased these to match other Energy speakers I have. I wanted to one brand of speakers in my home theater system so I am replacing everything with Energy.

Ive had a pair of Energy V-S speakers for about 2 months now. They are currently positioned on my side walls for a 5.1 system. The speaker build is solid and the piano black finish is stunning. The speakers are small enough to the point where they are not very noticeable on the wall. Despite their relatively small enclosure, they create an very enveloping sound stage. I was initially going to by another pair for a 7.1 system, but one pair does such a good job that I am tempted to stay with the 5.1 configuration. I am also surprised at their ability to provide subtle directional cues without being overbearing. In bipole mode, their placement is also forgiving.
At $350 per speaker, these speakers are worth the price. Above that, there are probably other options to consider.

These surrounds were purchased to replace the Klipsch Synergy series equivalent model in my entertainment home theater room. The beautiful gloss black finish does require a little more delicate upkeep, but is worth it. The sound is very clear and the quality of materials is very high. I use it in the dipole setting mode for movies, music and gaming. Mounted them on the walls just above head level. Highly recommend doing this if you can swing it. The mounting hardware system is pretty slick. Noticed amazing detail in these. The speakers came with white gloves for handling, self adhering bumpers, mounting hardware for wall mounts with larger self sticking bumpers and non-magnetic grill covers. To me, the sound quality is as good or better than the Klipsch Synergy surrounds and the finish is far more eye catching. These speakers have great sound and a great value coming from Vanns.

I guess I expected more from a pair of thousand dollar speakers. Im glad I got them on sale at Vanns. There build quality looks more like something from a lower end speaker not from a reference line. For example they dont seem to be made from mdf, which they should be. There small in size compared to some of other Dipolars I have installed. There sound is ok. They seem to do well under punishment from a Sunfire amp. I would recommend them. Just dont pay a thousand dollars for them. You will be regretful.

These are nice matching speakers to the Energy Veritas line. You have a choice to flip a switch on the speaker to send the sound directly forward or disperse the sound left and right. nice feature. Does not provide deep bass extension. Easy to hang with provided mount.
