No tricks, just design

If sound shouldnâ€™t be small, then Klipschâ€™s Tractrix horn is what takes the audio equivalent of a molehill and turns it into a mountain. By taking advantage of the way that the driver interacts with the air when focused through a horn, Klipsch is able to take what is otherwise an inefficient component and turn it around so that it can produce a greater amount of sound while still using the same amount of power. By precisely designing their Tractrix hornâ€™s curve and mouth, they are able to reduce distortion, and improve the range of sound that the driver is able to produce.

After only 2 years, our old Boxed Satellite Sound System was failing with excessive Hum and Distortion. It also lacked provisions for all my video and game equipment. My first purchase was a 7.2 Receiver with a True RMS of 100 watts per chanel and a Klipsch SW-450 sub-woofer from a local chain store retailer. Well, these 2 pieces overpowered my old stereo speakers. Next, after research on the net, I purchased a pair of Klipsch F-30 Towers from Vanns which are used on the Front Chanels of this system. These speakers sound Fantastic! The entire sound spectrum is untra clear from the Brightness of the Highs, the Presence of the Mids, and the Smoothness of the Bass. Everything from the front of this system sounded so well that I practically totally lost any presence of the surround chanels. On valenstines day, my wife purchased for me a pair of the F-10 Towers again from Vanns. The F-10s are a terrific compliment for this system. Although the F-10 towers are physically smaller than the F-30s, their performance and high quality of sound should not be underestimated. Now, our large livingroom is full of High-quality sound whenever watching a movie or listening to music, or playing games. Klipsch Speakers make you feel like you are in the middle of the action. Moral of the story Believe in Klipsch for outstanding speaker quality and performance. Compare their specs. with other brand speakers. They are also very pleasing to the eyes. I was very surprised at the sound these speakers were able to put out given their size. I thought I lost out by not getting the model above this one, but I feel comfortable knowing this is more than enough to fill my living room!

Sound is comparable to my BIC 12 floor standing speakers and with a sub paired with it, i dont feel like I am missing a thing at all now.

Not being an audiophile I asked a co-worker for recommendations on a good set of speakers to go with my blu-ray and receiver. I didn’t want a pre-bundled home surround package with yet another handful of satellite speakers and a thumpy subwoofer of questionable quality. So my goal was a good pair of speakers for movies and music which I could build a system on later if I wanted.

My two speakers arrived faster than expected in about 4 days with free shipping and was amazing well packaged to avoid shipping damage.

With just the two speakers hooked up the sound was clear, dynamic and stunning on everything I listed to. The speakers were so power efficient that I haven’t even turned my receive volume up past setting four. After listening to a wide array of music I played my blu-ray Predator and the sound effects and jungle noises were amazing and I’m anxious to get my surround sound flushed out with this Klipsch line.

I may not have all the technical details many people want in a review, but Vann’s and Klipsch have a very happy customer.
