Placed the order with Vann's for the 350's, they showed up six days later at my front door in fine condition. An hour later they replaced two old Polk's that had seen better days. Really happy with the crystal clear hi end. The mid range is crisp and low end is just fine. I added a new small Sub Woofer to augment the system. 'Sounds Great'. I've become a Vann's fan after my first purchase. Have since ordered a second pair of the Sony MB350 H for another room. Can't beat the price, service and follow up by Vann's. The reviews are also a great help when making a choise. Consumers Report also had good things to say about the Sony MB350 H's, but listening is believing.

ordered these on the 3 and recieved them on the 7. pretty quick for regular groung shipping. I listened to these at a radio shack prior to purchasing them. They sound better on my old techniques system than they did at the store. Vey pleased with the overall sound for the size. They actually have a little less base than the old techniques, but that is because of the size differance. overall they are great for the price.

I purchased these speaker for a great price. I have them hooked to a 100 watt rms amp in my truck under the rear seat. They fit under the seat perfectly and the sound is very good. Very good bass. Before you spend much more on a comparable automotive speaker that will NEVER match the sound of a box speaker, give these a try. If you have an extended cab pu like mine, you cant buy a better deal. They sound very good at hi volume.

I never thought that I would be able to purchase a pair of speakers that deliver great sound reproduction in a small package and at an extremely reasonable price. Put this together with free shipping and an easy online buying experience and you will see that I will be coming back to Vanns again and again. You simply cannot find better value and a gratifying shopping experience anywhere else.

I found out about these speakers from a review by sampro at epinions. His title says it all 'The Poor Man's Reference Speaker...Move over B&W, PSB, Paradigm, AR And Epos!' He describes the speakers in much greater detail and more technical knowledge that I can, but I can attest to the fact that they sound great!
I am using them in a 14 x 16 foot room, to listen to music from my Powerbook G4. The G4 uses USB to send a signal to my Griffin PowerWave, and I use the PowerWave's speaker breakout cable to hook up the Sony SS-MB350Hs.
So I am, in effect, only using a 20 Wattchannel RMS amp to drive these speakers. They are sitting on an oak desk with about 4 feet of seperation. The room is above a crawl space. The sound is clear and very natural. Imaging is really good, you can tell where the music is coming from and hear the space a in which a group is performing. Truly great sound and I get enough bass to feel it, sitting in a recliner 11 feet across the room, without any muddiness or distortion. If you are considering these as your sole speakers, they will do very well, you may want to add a subwoofer to the mix to fill out the bass, but listen to them in your room first, to see if your room acoustics, like mine, take care of that for you.
Now I grant that at 47 years old my bass needs aren't the same as they once where, and I am much more interested in detail and clean sound than I am in volume. But these speakers can handle much more power than I am giving them. In fact I like them so well I am thinking about hooking them up to the Class 70 amp and Class? 30 preamp in the living room and bringing my older Spicas back here.
The purchase and delivery from Vann's was a flawless experience as well. I ordered at 830 pm on a Tuesday, opted for free ground shipping, and had speakers in hand, in great shape, on the following Monday afternoon. Living in a small town high up in the Colorado Rockies, this was great service!

I was excited about the great deal I had gotten when I purchased these speakers. I waited for them to come to my house and when I got them I have to say that they were better than what I expected. The sound quality that came out of these speakers floored me. I knew that the sound would be good but WOW not that good. Me and my wife have enjoyed the speakers from the very moment that I truned on my system. I was looking for a great all around speaker that I could use for my stereo and my home theater system. I have found them. I would tell anyone to get these speakers. They look great with or without the grill. These are are the best bang for the buck I have found on the net in a very long time.
