When it comes to speakers, loud alone doesn't equal great. Clarity and precision are far more important in sound reproduction, and the Klipsch VF-35 floorstanding speaker delivers in spades. Klipsch packed this slender beauty with three 5.25" fiber-composite woofer cones that are lightweight, yet powerful. You'll hear enough bass out of these drivers to forgo a subwoofer, if you so choose. The frequency response starts at 41Hz with a low frequency extension of 38Hz. On the upper end, a single 1" aluminum-dome Tractrix Horn-loaded tweeter with XT technology covers up to 23kHz. The Tractrix Horn's carefully calculated flare dramatically increases driver efficiency, allowing production of very high sound levels with minimal amplifier power and no strain or distortion. It also controls the sound's directivity, ensuring excellent coverage of the listening area while minimizing detail-obscuring reflections off of walls, floor, and ceiling. Fed by a smooth, accurate titanium-dome tweeter, the Tractrix Horn is the key to the vibrantly realistic, emotionally compelling Klipsch Sound Experience. In order to maintain an even transition between drivers, the VF-35 uses high-definition, precision-voiced crossovers for tighter tolerance and higher accuracy. The result is an impressive "front and center" soundstage. Finally, it might sound great, but if it doesn't look great, there's a good chance it won't find a place in your living room. The VF-35 features a slim design with a furniture-grade wood veneer top cap for a very subtle but stylish look. The top grill is removeable, and the bottom grill is fixed to protect the woofers from damage.

I bought these Klipsch VF-35 speakers to replace my Klipsch SF-1s. I was happy with the sound of the SF-1s but decided to upgrade because of the price Vanns had on the VF-35. I also bought and replace my Yamaha 5.1 suround sound receiver with the Harman kardon HK3490 2 channel stereo receiver. I wanted a true high power 120watts a channel to feed the speakers. I must say i am very impressed with the Klipsch VF-35 speakers. The highs are cristal clear and there is plenty of bass that a subwoofer is not needed. After about 20 hours of play time they even sound better! I couldnt be more happier with these speakers. They are tall, heavy and well built. After hearing these i cant imagine what a $800.00 dollar or more speaker could sound like??

This is an excellent complement to my HT. Great sound, attractive and just what you would expect from Klipsch. I have recently purchased the rest of the Icon V series for a total makeover of my HT and could not be happier.The audio quality is superb and the aesthetics of the whole system is pleasing. Although this is now a discontinued series, at these prices for the VF 35 and VF 36, I could not pass on this offer for brand new Klipsch speakers. I rate this product 5 stars!!!

I went from a set of Bose 601 speakers to the Klipsch VF-35s. I was surprised how much better they sounded. At first I was a bit concerned that they might not put out as much bass as I like but my fears were put to rest as soon as I fired up the receiver.

What can i say? its a klipsch, one of the best engineered sounding speakers in the business. I have tried other brands of speakers used for stereo theatre surround sound and truthfully these are the best in clear, crisp sound, the horn tweeter and woofers are powerful and gives an unbelievable clear sound.

First i would like to say I have come to love vanns. I used to me a best buy guy and then I started searching amazon for prices. I cam accross vanns and bought a surround sound setup of Klipsch speakers that I love. So when looking for a good pair of stereo speakers for my house I turned to vanns and klipsch again. I found the vf-35 at best buy on sale for about $400 for the pair and almost bought them because they were half the price. I waited and bought them fron vanns for $299. Outstanding.

Sound after break in is no less then perfect. The speakers produce some of the clearest sound i have ever had with a home stereo. Highs are just as expected with klipsch speakers and the lows are wonderfull. I would recomend these to anyone looking for a great speaker at a wonderfull price.

I am equipping a newly completed home theater and installed the VF 35s as the front left and right speakers for a 5.1 surround sound system. I also purchased Klipsch VS 14 rear speakers and a Klipsch center channel speaker.

The VF 35s provide clear and highly detailed high and mid range sound. The bass is lacking real punch but I am currently using a 250 watt powered sub-woofer not Klipsch but I intend to upgrade soon. I considered an upgrade to the VF 36s which have an extended lower bass response but with the current sub-woofer I decided to save that expense.

Overall I am very satisfied with the VF 35s and at the reduced price offered on this model by Vanns, they were a real bargain.

I would order other equipment from Vanns without hesitation. The delivery time was excellent - six days - including a weekend and Hurricane Irene.

Awesome floor speakers at a great price!!! Excellent clarity and just the right amount of bass when watching movies or listening to music. I have a 7ch home theater system and all my speakers are klipsch. I used to be a Bose fan until I was introduced to Klipsch. Same quality sound at a cheaper price. These are great speakers for the price. The tweeters are amazing providing good highs and great vocal clarity. In comparing them with the Reference series, RF-52 speakers, the VF-35 is lacking the bass that the Reference series provides. Other than that, and they are a little bigger than the equivalent reference series speakers, they are a great speaker at an entry level price.

Surprising bass and highs out of these primo babies. The size and Klipsch name attracted to me to them and with this insane price these are a steal!! Any of the Klipsch Synergy products match up so I bought a C20 and S10 from Vanns too! What a deal!
