Compact design, spacious sound

Most loudspeakers featuring multiple drivers have large, obtrusive cabinets. Why? The answer is simple: each individual driver is mounted separately in the cabinet. When designing your home theater, you're looking for room-filling audio, not room-hogging speakers. Sporting an innovative speaker configuration, the A 102 satellite and A 10 CEN center-channel speakers in the Jamo A 102 HCS 5 system are able to deliver the performance of two drivers from a loudspeaker enclosure designed for one. To do so, each speaker's 0.75" tweeter and 3.0" woofer are integrated into a single driver unit. While cabinet size is minimized for a subtle installation, you still experience high fidelity mid- and upper-range audio frequencies.

High-performance bass, automatically

It's funny: while home theater lingo always refers to subwoofer audio with a teeny little decimal point (i.e. the "0.1" in "5.1-channel"), it's the sub that serves up the biggest, most important element of the audio experience . . . audio you can hear and feel. Imagine watching an action flick with a helicopter chase scene. Without a subwoofer, the chopper's blades sound like a house fly buzzing around. With a subwoofer, you hear the thunderous drone of a booming engine and churning blades. That's quite a difference. Now, not only does the Jamo A 102 HCS 5's 200W of built-in amplification and 8" woofer deliver deep, powerful bass audio, but an integrated auto on/off switch automatically turns the sub on when a signal is detected, and turns the sub off when the signal is stopped.

this speaker system is hot.it looks great and sound better than you would expect.the sub gives you that boom you get from larger subs.the piano black finish is very sleek and clean.i had ordered the silver set first but it was defective and vanns took great care of me.they are the best online electronic site for my money.

From the minute I opened the box and unwrapped these, I was very pleasantly surprised.

Setup was quick and easy. All wall brackets and cables are included. From movies to music, the sound was simply amazing. These speakers look and sound as if they cost double what I paid.

Highly recommended without any reservations.. Thank you Vanns for a great product at a reasonable price.

It was time for me to upgrade my stuff and I wanted all HDMI connections.. Cheapskate that I am, I settled on the Onkyo htrc-160 and was looking for a powered subwoofer to go with my bose double cubes. I saw this Jamo package on this site for bargains and it was about $80 less than what I was gonna spend on a sub. The onkyo is 7.2 so i figured Id use my bose for the fronts and these jamos for the back. Well, watching the aussy open, on the bose it was like listening to ping pong compared to the jamo. The bose are my new back speakers.

These speakers are little gems, sound is very rich and the powered sub is really good.

I paid $129 at xmas for the silver, but it is worth well beyond that. Jamo is a Danish brand and you should google amazon uk and see their reviews, the brits pay alot more for this setup and gloat upon the value..

I got an isignia surround reciever and found these speakers here at Vanns. These sound incredible even through this starter surround amp. They are small speakers but with big time sound. I dont understand wjhy the black ones are twice the price, but my old system was silver so the color was no problem for me. If you are looking for a great sounding set of speakers for a great price, you cant beat these. The Subwoofer is more than adequately powered and can rumble the walls with ease. The highs are clear and crisp.. its a little weak in the midrange but that is easily adjustable.

This is the best deal out there for a 5.1 system. The sateltiles look small but really pack a punch they are also very heavy. Altogether the system is a steal at 129.99. Again there is no better deal out there.
